Notebook - Spines pocket lined Notebook – 7 June 2011

A nice little notebook with an interesting retro cover. Another reviewer thought the cover didn't open properly, but all it needs is easing fully open and it's just like any other notebook.

I bought this as a present and was very happy with the high quality finish of this product and its size. It was very well received and I think this makes a smart gift for book lovers! The colours were a tad more vivid in real life that in the photo.

This is very hard to open. The spine is hard and broke the first time I tried to write in it. If it really is Penguin, the quality is very poor. Paper is quite rough too. Very expensive for what you get.

As someone who collects notebooks and also uses them for all sorts of things I love this notebook. Unlike another reviewer who thought it too good to use, the quality of the paper is such that the notebook lends itself well for writing in ballpoint or in my case rollerball/gel pen. It's uses are as varied as the people who might choose to use it. Highly recommended.

the cover looks really cool and the paper inside is good quality. but the cover is made out of cardboard and is too thick, so i can't open the book fully without breaking the spine or maybe the whole book. but kudos for the awesome and quirky design
