Prym - Chalk Cartridge Set - 1 Piece, Multi Colour, 18 Count (Pack of 1)

Really like this set of fabric chalks. Great for precision marking on fabrics if a frixion pen isn’t suitable. I’ve used the wedge-shaped chalks, which are fine for marking large pattern pieces but this set is brilliant for marking small/awkward shapes where precision is needed. This set has a great variety of colours, which are easy to change and easy to sharpen (with the sharpener included.) Love it! Value for money and versatile for most, if not all, fabric colours.

Arrived next day. Works well on felt. Chalks were all intact and secure in a separate hard plastic box. Very happy with this product.

I actually love this product. Great price, great range of colours for all the different fabrics I use, and fits well in my hand. So, when in use, this product is a dream. It's the storage that I think lacks effort. This is what I image the product team saying - Guy 1 - Hey, let's give the customer 20 incredibly thin and fragile chalk sticks so they can be used on a variety of fabrics and look great - and let's do it for a good price Guy 2 - Yeh, but if we give them so many for cheap, how will we make money? Guy 1 - Check this out - we'll give them a box that doesn't close properly and package them in little bags to make it even more difficult to manage - if they don't drop and break every single one of them chalks in the first week, I'll eat my shoe Guy 1 still has all of his shoes.

Particularly found the pencil sharpener useful. The chalk sticks are exactly the same size and width as the Koh-I-Noor branded one. The tips do wear down very quickly so the sharpener is essential as it is a different size to a standard sharpener. I have had no issues with snapping or failing to make marks and this is avery handy addition to my kit in addition to, but not instead of, heat erasable pens.

This chalk pen is dream come true. It's soft and easy to write on fabric and works better than normal chalk. The cartridges are thin but durable and you can shave it with a sharpener which is provided in the pack. It's bold enough to see it on the fabric but a bit hard to remove it (there is an ereaser at the top of the pen but I couldn't use it on fabric) but I could use suitable colour for it. The white ones are difficult to see on light colour fabric but the colour ones work well. Anyway, overall, it is exactly what I wanted and would recommend it.

Whilst it is not the clumsiest of markers out their (it is better than tailor's chalk triangles) it is not the easiest to use if you want a thin precise line or mark. Having said that I found it easier to use than the usual tailor's chalk and it does wash out without staining the material. Having a choice of colours in the leads is also handy and it is easy to change the leads at will. It takes some getting used to but I wouldn't be without mine now.

These work really well and having the different colours has been really helpful for marking on different coloured fabrics. The little sharpener works very well and helps maintain a fine point to the tip. I tried to use the "sticks" without putting them into the pen holder, but managed to break a few - I don't advise doing it! The sticks are quite fragile so need to be handled carefully and stored in the provided holder.

it worked really well, in fact I would say one of the best fabric markers I've used. but after only using it a few times, the holder jammed and can't get the chalk out.

Crayon des pratique, même si la mine reste fragile, il suffit de la sortir juste un peu, ce crayon marque parfaitement les tissus et s’en va facilement avec la gomme, par contre ça reste toujours compliqué pour marquer du velours côtelé mais on y arrive quand même sans trop appuyer. J’en avais testé plusieurs et j’avoue que je n’y croyais pas trop mais celui-ci me convient. Il est arrivé bien emballé et donc les mines de rechanges n’étaient pas cassées. La 2eme photo montre le tissus une fois le marquage gommé, sur le cuir doux marron on distingue une légère marque mais il s’efface remarquablement bien.

Attrezzo utilissimo e molto pratico per chi fa molto bricolage, non solo sartoriale ma anche di altri generi. Le mine in gesso scrivono molto bene sia su stoffa che su altri materiali; il tratto è netto, sottile e ben evidente. Ci sono diversi portamine di questo genere in vendita, forse questo è il meno "bello" però si impugna comodamente e rispetto ad altri ha due marce in più: la gomma per cancellare sulla testa e il temperamine. Le mine colorate non macchiano i tessuti e già a secco il segno si elimina senza difficoltà. Hanno un abbondante assortimento di mine di ricambio. La mina (bianca) già inclusa nel portamine è uscita spezzata in più parti ma non è un problema perché la penna consente di utilizzare anche pezzetti minimi. Rapporto qualità/prezzo molto alto, prodotto consigliato.

It doesn't mark the fabric as well as other chalk. That's my only take on it. I tried 5he white and the blue. It takes a lot of pressure to get it to mark the fabric. Not very helpful especially with jersey or knit fabric that moves around easily and has a lot of stretch to it.

Item arrives smashed. Only 1 piece of chalk is useable so can’t comment on how the different colours perform
