WREBBIT 3D Golden Hall Edoras Lord of The Rings Puzzle, 742-Piece

I was a bit overwhelmed with the puzzle when I opened the box :) But once I removed the pieces that aren't really parts of the puzzle and the sorted similar pieces out, I was able to put together the puzzle fast. Even though some parts like the roof and walls can be little confusing, the pieces were cut in a way that I didn't really need the instructions much. I kept assembling pieces and checking them off from the instruction guide. And I am very pleased with the final result. Its really sturdy and the pieces fit very well.

Bought this for my daughter and her room mate for those nights were neither had plans to go out, but wanted a project that they can work on while enjoying a glass or three of wine. Each year I purchase a 3-d puzzle and found Wrebbit are high quality and turn into works of art. Both gals being Geeks this fits the bill.

The puzzle is awesome! It is challenging but definitely not too challenging. Definitely recommend for any LOTR fan or puzzle fan.

This puzzle is challenging to put together, and well worth the effort. On the down side, it's made out of foam pieces, so it isn't the most durable in the world. There are a lot of unnecessary pieces, (marked with red dots) that have to be removed before the puzzle can be put together, but it's not too much trouble to find them. On the whole, this was great fun to put together and almost as much fun to look at once it was finished.

Very nice! I am all finished and it is impressive. The only issue I had was in the construction process . It was a challenge to fit some pieces together because my hands were too big, but that is just part of the puzzle process. One other thing, it is helpful to make sure all the little red dot pieces are removed before you start assembling the puzzle.

This is the 2nd Puzz3d that my brother and I put together. We were surprise to find out that the company who made this, Wrebbit3D, is different from the 1st one we bought which is "Glow-in-the-dark Victorian Haunted House" by Winning Solution. The first thing we've notice is that the pieces were a bit bigger and the print is better. We were also surprise by the cardboard pieces as well as accessories that came with package. We we're hoping that the cardboard pieces will provide more stability, however, it did not. In fact it was a bit difficult to use. For some reason only the front and roof has cardboard support while the sides and back doesn't have any which is disappointing since it would have provided greater stability for the finish product. The extra accessories could have been a good addition to the finish piece, however, it doesn't fit well while the 2 poles doesn't stick to the side, forcing us to use magic tape to stabilize them. The finish product was great to look from a far until you look closer and see the flaws in the design. If you don't plan on disassembling this piece it demands a large amount of space. I hope future pieces will be a lot more sturdier and stable, probably use a harder cardboard pieces and accessories. The finish product was satisfactory but still need a bit of improvement.

I might have tried to set it up before returning, but it's expensive and WHOA mama it has a toxic smell. If you get it, prepare to leave it out for a couple of months or more, possibly over the return possible date - and I don't even know if that'll work.

Oh, the allure of anything having to do with "Lord of the Rings" ...This puzzle was a bear to put together. Granted, my helpers were a 9 y/o and 12 y/o. But still. I'm smart, with an eye for detail. Forget doing this puzzle if you have trouble seeing things up close (my bifocal-ed husband was useless in this endeavor). The pieces were often difficult to differentiate. Pieces that SEEMED to go together (and even fit together) would have miniscule differing details that we'd finally notice after other parts of the puzzle weren't coming together right. The stone base was especially difficult. Once we got the sections pieced together (4-5 weeks of on-off working), it was time to "go 3-D." This turned into my own personal puzzle hell. My kids abandoned the project and I was left to fend for myself one Sunday afternoon. This is the stage where all your hard work threatens to come undone as you try to connect the pieces. More than once during this multi-hour ordeal I thought that I'd much rather take the LSAT unprepared than put another 3D puzzle together.In hindsight, after putting the sections together, we should've glued them together for added stability. Perhaps that would've helped with the frustration during the 3D stage. Who knows?

Phenomenal product, hours of fun, top quality, good value for money too.
