Super strong!
I didn’t use this on upholstery, but on a craft project where I needed really strong thread. I don’t think you could break it if you tried……because I did…….and it wouldn’t break. It’s awesome!

My sewing machine struggled with the thickness of this thread - SUPER strong
I used this thread on sunshade material and my sewing machine really struggled with the thread tangling. This thread is more rigid than regular thread and comes off the spool curved - my machine often struggles with threads that are stiffly curved. In the future I will only use it for hand sewing. This thread is super strong and I feel very confident that the thread will not deteriorate in the sun. I intend to also use it for grow bags, for porch curtains, and for outdoor bench cushions. The thread is hard to find the end and I peeled off both paper ends trying to find the end - Once I found it I couldn't remove it from the notch in the spool. Also the spool is hollow and wobbled on my sewing machine thread spindle.

Very thick and strong
The description states that this thread can be used with modern machines, and while it is very nice sturdy thread that would be great for upholstery, my machine struggles with it because it is so thick. The khaki color pictured is a little different than you get in real life- it is a true khaki color in person. The pictures show a little bit darker color of brown. For areas where I need to make a hand repair this will still be great.

Strong, tightly woven, excellent upholstery thread
Full disclosure - I am not a seamstress and know just enough about sewing to stay out of trouble. One thing I have learned is the quality of your thread matters. I'm done with cheap inferior thread, as it has proven to be more trouble than it is worth. This thread is very strong and tightly woven. It runs trouble-free on my Bernina sewing machine. It is a pleasure to use thread that doesn't shed or do any of the other terrible things the inferior threads I've used have done.I ordered the Khaki color, which is very pleasing. I will be ordering both the blue and black, as they will fit better with the types of materials and objects I am currently working on.I'm very pleased with the results I've achieved so far with this thread. It is ideal for the types of materials and sewing I've been doing, essentially, what most would consider heavy-duty or more utility-type tasks, like repairing messenger bags, making studio drapes, attaching Velcro, and the like.I only have one very small issue with this thread and it has to do with the spool, not the thread. The center core hole is large with a paper label over each end. The spindle on my machine is about the diameter of a pencil, I prefer using spools that have a similar diameter. That said, the thread has run extremely well on my machine with absolutely no issues, so apparently the core size doesn't matter.Bottom line: I found this to be a study, tightly woven thread that is easy to work with and very strong. I will be ordering more. 5 stars

Great heavy duty thread for sewing leather!
I mostly use normal heavyweight threads for my leather projects since I'm most often working with thinner leather where the thick waxed threads are just overkill. I keep mostly neutral tones on hand, but I was missing a brown, so I ordered this stuff. All I can say is WOW! It's better than I expected, and I think the thing I love most about it is that seems like a similar weight to my coats & clark heavy duty thread (ok, it's probably a bit thicker), but it's much more sturdy and less fuzzy feeling. It seems like it should be more durable overall.I'm definitely going to pick this up in more colors for my leather projects!

Excellent quality
Outstanding heavy duty quality thread perfect for outdoor fabric repair. It's super strong and thin so it's easy to work with. I recently purchased large grow bags with less than stellar stitching and seams. The FIVEIZERO thread is exactly what I needed for repairs. The thread is thin enough to be used in both my sewing machine and serger. The fabric grow bags will be handstitched using another excellent product - FIVEIZERO Heavy Duty Hand Sewing Needles Set (https://www.amazon.com/Sewing-Needles-FIVEIZERO-Leather-Upholstery/dp/B0C73WQX8Q?ref_=ast_sto_dp). I chose white thread just to make it easier to see when working with the black fabric grow bags. Photo shows the 2 spools of white thread plus the needle set ordered separately

Best for special purpose stitching
This thread has serious strength, and its rather slippery surface makes it glide during sewing better than regular thread. It will need a larger or specialty needle. The two spools comprise a reasonable supply for my small projects or repair jobs. I think I would have liked an option for a color per spool, or select one color, get the second spool as a random color. My one difficulty with the spool was finding the end of the thread.I'll also say that this thread is strong enough to possibly use it for non-sewing applications. I tethered a leaning house plant using it. (Just don't ignore the chance it could accidentally cut something.)My overall impression is that this thread is highest quality.

Very strong
I haven't used this in my sewing machine yet, but I'm sure it'll work great. I have used it with Leather however and it works very well. It's a little thin but very strong.
