I needed a couple hanging solar lights to hang from 2 shepherd hooks that are attached to posts at the entry of my gate, and these fit the bill perfectly. Very nice looking and I like the colonial styling, perfect size for what I wanted. Sturdy, well made and they are pretty bright. I'd purchase these again.

Love the look of these carriage style solar hanging lights...We used these on a driveway gate, mostly for a decorative touch, as we have motion lights on the property as well, but they give off a good bit of light. (Sorry for the quality of the night photo.) I'm extremely pleased.

First of all, I think the price point is right. The design works well for us. I didn't think they were too small, as some reviewers have said. Perfect size for lighting along my driveway and in the backyard. I put 6 lamps in each place. I did have to purchase sheppard's hooks to display them, but these come in packs of 12, so all in all, I was happy with the purchase. I waited 5 months before leaving this review to make sure I was still happy with them. All of them worked from the start....no troubles there. They started charging immediately and, at first, they lasted the entire night. Now, 5 months later, I would say that they light up bright for about 4 hours after charging all day on a sunny day. I'm going to try replacing the rechargable battery on one of them to see if a new battery will help the lights keep a charge for 10 hours instead of only 4. They do light up after 4 hours, but it's a very faint glow and then eventually disappears completely. I want them to keep lit for the 10 hours that they used to when I first got them. The rechargable batteries are supposed to last up to 5 years before needing replacement, I thought. I'll try to come back and update after I do my test. But, for now, I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars because they are attractive lights and when they are bright, they look fantastic lining the driveway and in the backyard landscape. I would purchase them again, even for the 4 hours of lighting at night.

Very nice lanterns. Bulb housing is a larger. Black plastic "iron" framing of bulb housing looks very solid and attractive. Bulbs are a gorgeous deep flame orange. Flickering is ideal. Love them. Lined a forested driveway all the way to the house with them and it is still solar charging even in summer. Would buy again. Love them. Looks like 1825 at my house!

I like the design and construction. Battery compartment enclosed out of the weather. Shouldn.t rust at battery like cheaper versions. My only problem is, I ordered 2 sets, and 1 lamp did not light. I charged it all day, checked battery, it was fully charged, but no light. I kept it because i didn't want to return both with one working.

Gave out great light, easy to assemble…also live in Texas where we have had some bad wind storms lately and they even survived my fence falling on top of them!

These solar lights are perfect on each side of the door of our 10x10 shed. They are not too bright nor too dim. And so far the lights stay on for about 8:00 to 9 hours.

Very well made and very nice design, and what is more, a design that is functional and easy to use, such as when you need to change the battery. Super bright with a bigger solar panel than many lights of that size and kind.

They're small. Really small. I'm thinking that the measurements include the bracket??? They're cute though, and for the price I'll put them somewhere. Just not at the entry of my house where I thought they'd fit.
