Worked out great. Slow is the key for using these or they will break. Use lubrication and patience. I'm still using these after purchasing 5 months.

If I could give zero stars I would. These are dull right out of the box and would not even drill through soft aluminum. So I drilled out a hole the exact same diameter and thought I could at least tap in a thread in the soft aluminum. Nope. It broke half way through. (Note: the video makes it appear that the drill is moving backwards. It is not.) This are a waist of money and a pure ripoff. I will see if Amazon will refund.

The set came complete, the finish on the bits looks a bit suspect (black paint?) but they seem sharp enough, and for the money this looks like an OK deal if it works. And it mostly does/did. The first hole I tried was in 0.2" thick simple steel (a galvanized bracket) with the #12 NC bit, and it broke the moment it got halfway into the tapping operation. First hole, first pass, maybe the steel was a bit extra steely, but that was disappointing so there goes a star. Flip-side, I've now done about 40 holes into 1/4" thick brass with the 1/4" NC bit, and no issues although the bit is starting to get dull. Then again, fair enough after 40 holes, and impressive enough to not lose 2 stars over the #12 bit. The other disappointment (and the description was clear so no complaint there, just wish-it-would-have) is that in metric the set goes up to 10mm which is 0.4-ish inches, and in NC it only goes to 1/4" so a little over 6mm. Having 5/16" and 3/8" NC bits included would have made this a MUCH more useful set for me.

I read this items brakes . Works fantastic for me. Am easy on drilling and threading. On hard aluminum. I also tend to pre drill with a smaller size bit before using this product To me it is a strong enough tool just be easy on it common sense.

Cannot beat this deal for minor repairs quickly. No problems so far.

Not quite what I had hoped for but the product kind of works. I won’t buy again. The bits wore down instead of removing screws

I waited till I used these a few times before writing this review. I got a few sizes of these and they are all getting the same review. These were all used for drilling and threading narrow style aluminum door frames and 18ga steel doors. The bits were used with a Milwaukee hydraulic 1/4" impact drill/driver and Tap Magic cutting/tapping fluid. I have used many combination drill/taps in the past and I will be honest in saying that these have worked better and cleaner than the other drill/taps that I have used in the past. After multiple uses in 18ga steel the bits still performed very well and cut & threaded with very little effort. They went through the aluminum frames with ease. Sizes used were 8-32, 10-24 and 10-32. All held up well and drilled clean holes and tapped very nicely for the machine screw sizes they represented. It will take a while to use these up compared to the other brands I have used in the past, I will be buying these again.

Those break very easily.

La calidad del acero con el que están fabricados es muy mala. No pude hacer ni siquiera un barreno en una lamina de calibre 16 de acero al carbón, metí otra broca para abrir previamente un agujero y en cuanto empezó a entrar, se rompió.

I don't usually leave Amazon reviews but I was surprised with these thread cutters and did the job that was required of them. AOK so it was a plastic screw that had sheared off on my roof rack mounting but I managed to drill it out then use the required drill/ tap on both of the sheared plastic protectors as they had never been used in donkeys, and it managed to rescue the bolt hole recess and be able to fit middle bar of roof rack... Don't know what it would be like if it was steel though 🤓👍👍

It snapped after one use on a small peice of aluminium
