Exhaust Muffler 1.5-2"Inlet with Removable DB Killer for Street/Sport Motorcycles and Scooters with 38,51mm Diameter Exhaust Pipes(Matt black)

Installed the matte black version on my '09 ninja 650R and it sounds pretty good. With my earplugs and helmet on I couldn't hear the exhaust at hwy speeds over the wind noise. I took out the DB killer and now it's perfect. Had to buy a mid-pipe to connect it, and none of the pipes they sell on amazon fit perfectly so it has a small leak. Works as it should, and for a good price.

Let me start by saying the only thing less cool than a scooter is a loud scooter. However this was the last piece to my build. I built the engine of fiddle 2 scooter to 180cc (yes 63mm), big valve ported head, cam ect. I really wanted to keep the stock exhaust, I cut the rear most baffle out of it which was about as much as I could do with the stock muffler. I wanted to see if the stock exhaust was holding me back. I bought this because number one it was cheap but also it was black! It seems every aftermarket muffler on the market is some version of chrome and anodized looking colors. I had a front pip from an ice bear trike so I cut it up, welded the spring tabs on and used a gy6 swing arm to make a bracket. I’m pretty impressed. The quality is good. Something to remember is this is a straight through muffler with fiberglass packing. It’s loud, there’s no way around it. The silencer helps but it’s still loud.l way beyond the stock exhaust. I didn’t notice much of a performance bump. Certainly didn’t gain any top end. These little engines don’t need a straight through muffler with a 2” bore. However there’s not many options out there. It will stay on for now, I’m starting to get used to the little grow of the 180cc.

Way better than the stock exhaust for my 2025 Ninja 500. You definitely need to buy a mid-pipe separately (I can only speak for my bike); that wasn’t clear to me with my first purchase and I had to buy one (also around $35). Quick and easy install outside of that. Good for a first, cheap mod on a new motorcycle. Sounds good, looks good. Louder than it appears in video, but not obnoxiously so

Nice muffler at a good price . But it didn't fit my bike. No problem returning it.

Would send it back if I could, but I ended up welding it to a custom adaptor for it to fit on my yamaha kodiak 400 exhaust. Took it out for a ride and it is louder than the stock muffler that had rusted out on 2 sides!. When I returned from a 1/2 mile ride, there was fiberglass coming out around the "Db silencer". It was literally blowing the stuffing out. I put rtv sealant around the end of the muffler. Piece of junk.

Very cheaply made. Obviously price made it suspiciously tempting. May be fine for a small scooter under 200cc or so. I installed On my Duke 390 and within 1-2 minutes the packing was already blowing out. So expect to have to repack if you buy one. Also, the removable “DB killer” insert bends and sticks out just from the pressure of the exhaust. The screw won’t stay tight because where it screws into is extremely thin like sheet metal and has no holding power. It’s very loud which is somewhat expected with a short silencer. But not this loud.

Worked perfectly

Installed on my Vespa GTS 300. It's LOUD even with the silencer installed. The muffler clamp is too big, the vibration rubbed the paint off of the muffler under the loose clamp within the first day. The silencer has no locktite on the hardware so it will fall off without addressing that. Overall the tone is pleasant, however the volume may cause unwanted attention. For only $37 I didn't expect much, and its fine for the cost, but I put the OEM exhaust back on shortly after.

Bonjour a tous, j'étais un peu septique avant de commander ce silencieux car pour se prix là qualité n'ai généralement pas présente. Voilà mon retour, serte se n'ai pas d' excellente qualité mais fait largement le travail, aucune fuite détecté , esthétiquement présente bien , la sonorité est très correct ( une chicane efficace est fourni avec), sur les photos la chicane n'ai pas monter car j'ai essayé avec et sans afin de pouvoir écrire mon commentaire avec un réel essaie et il y a une réel différence. En ce qui concerne l'installation, il vous faudra souder les deux supports de ressorts , vous pouvez vous référer au photo jointe au commentaire, le support du silencieux et de qualités convenable et fait très bien son travail. Je modifierai mon commentaire après quelques mois d'utilisation afin d'apporter un maximum de détails sur ce produit. Pour le moment j'en suis vraiment satisfait. 😁
