Seemed a bit rough
The book was ok but contained a lot of spotty information, grammatical errors, sloppy formatting, and seemed like the author got somewhat tired of writing toward the end and just sort of threw the end together rather than putting as much thought into it. I got some useful information out of it, but it could have been better.

Very Informative Book
I think this book is very informative. I have not actually tried any of her methods yet but I did know about a few of them and I intend to use some of these to see if it does help with cravings and in turn help me to lose a few pounds. She explains how essential oils can help you with cravings, hunger pangs, etc. and how these can help you lose weight but you will also have to work to lose weight, this is not a stand alone miracle to lose weight but used correctly some essential oils can actually reduce your hunger and cravings for certain foods. I also like how she explains the difference between essential oil therapy and aromatherapy, which I use often already. Another good part is that she lists the essential oils that can help you and gives a very in depth reasoning as to why and how each essential oil helps so that you will know which one is best for your particular area that you need help with. She also gives other books as references to look into for further information. One thing that I did not like is that she gives you questions to ask yourself and see which of 3 body types you are but only gives advice for those with the Kapha body type. There is no information for the other 2, which I thought was strange. Overall though, this is a really good book and I hope to learn from this and use some of her methods to help me as well.

Not bad, wished it had more information
This was a great brief overview of how to uses oils. If you are well-versed in essential oils, the usage, and application - this is a quick and easy read. If someone is new to oils, this is just a good cliff notes version but would require outside research to assist the reader. Also, the author mentioned Ayruvedic body types, and then really only mentioned Kapha essential oil application. The author should have also included essential oils for the other Ayruvedic body types for a thorough overview in her book. Not bad, and her knowledge does align with other essential oil references I have read. For a free read, a good find.

like many of us
If you, like many of us, struggle with weight loss, even while dieting and exercising, then Essential Oils For Weight Loss: Your Guide To Kickstart Your Weight Loss With Essential Oils claims to have the answer to your problem. Sara Banks has written a guide to using Essential Oils to help you in your battle with the bulge. She argues that it is a safe, pleasant and stress-free method. In the book she discusses what essential oils are, how they work, and which are the most effective oils for weight loss. She then moves on to explaining how to use essential oils to combat weight, and even gives several recipes you can follow. In addition she provides a few quizzes you can take to better understand your body and its relationship with food, and which oils will be most effective for you personally. Banks points out that it's not exactly a cheap method for weight loss, as the essential oils can be quite expensive, but argues that the results will make the expense totally worth it.

I especially like the idea of putting a drop or two of ...
I definitely learned a lot from this book. I wasn't quite sure how essential oils could aid in weight loss but now I have a few tricks that I use just from reading this. I especially like the idea of putting a drop or two of grapefruit oil in your water. Its very delicious and I can also notice my hunger pains and hunger in generally hide away for a little bit. Very cool.I didn't like the formatting so much in this book, a little messy. Also the last few chapters seemed rushed. Especially chapter 9. You go through a small quiz to find out what body type you are and then she only explains one body of the three body types and ignores the rest.Overall good quick read.

Helpful information
This book has some useful information. They do offer a few recipes. I just wish they had more recipes for something other than inhalants.

Interesting
This book is interesting. The subject is well known by the author, however, it has grammatical errors that are hard for me to overlook. I am kind of driven to learn more from different sources.

Excellent Information, Practical and Useful!
Essential Oils for Weight Loss Now is an expert guide uncovering everything there is to know about essential oils. I love the fact the author has summaries after each chapter and even includes questionnaires to help you identify issues you might have with eating that are making you fatBanks even talks about energy baths to help with specific moments of stress in your life that will help you begin the healing process.Great information that everyone can gain from. There was one factor in the conclusion that doesn't fit for me. It says that just diets and exercise doesn't work for weight loss. That's not true because better nutrition and regular exercise does work for weight loss. Combine the factors in essential oil that make sense to you with that, and you've got a winning combination. And I can't wait to test out some of these excellent essential oil strategies and get results!I recommend you read this book, it's really that good!
