This eyepiece has a apprant field of view of 100°. Its eyecup shields your eye from unwanted light and therefore increases contrast. The combination of a large apparent field of vie and shorter focal length provides higher magnification and results in a darker sky background. It also has a low pupil sensitivity for daytime use. It has a concentric 1.25" and 2" barrels that allow it to be used to 1.25" and 2" focusers and star diagonals without having to change the diagonal or eyepiece adapter. It has a comfortable eye relief, high contrast and full-field on-axis sharpness for planetary viewing, which make it an ideal eyepiece for all telescopes that can utilize the 10mm focal length.
