TORCHSTAR 4 Inch Slim Recessed Lighting with Junction Box, Dimmable 10W Ultra-Thin LED Recessed Light, 5000K Daylight, 700LM Basic Series LED Downlight, ETL & Energy Star, Pack of 6

I have been stalled it several times in my home. They are bright lights especially the latest ones we seem to have a greater light output 12 W compared to 13 1/2 now. Power consumption is a little higher but the light output is significantly brighter. First installation still going well after four years all lights are working well. I did have one problem with them and the deals would be space inside the junction box. I originally used wire nuts but I was loaded it gets a little tight in the box if there are more than two wires coming in. I switched over to WEGO connectors and my fault did not push one of the wires in far enough and light worked intermittently. Other than that these lights are phenomenal. Buy them!

Great light for the price, the only problem I’ve had with them is something in the j box keeps going bad and the light flickers. I’ve had to replace 2 so far.

East to install and great light; however j box needs to be replaced on several of them. I bought these in 2019 (40 of them) and I have had to replace 1/3 of them due to j box needing to be replaced.

The lights were cheap and they are very durable. It was easy to install into the house.

We really like the brightness these lights have brought to our home; not to white, not too yellow. We highly recommend installing a dimmer switch to help create the perfect ambiance for any occasion.

Easy install. Very bright!

These lights come with almost all of the parts you need to install. Junction box, wire connectors and screws. It does NOT come with the push in cable connectors which are required by code because the box is metal with sharp edges where the wire comes in. (See picture) I'd suggest taking the box to the blue or orange store to measure and make sure the connectors you buy fit. If you order them online it might not fit right. Up to you.✔Fortunately the first dimmer I tried worked well with these dimmable LEDs. I've read many reviews where some dimmers never seem to work properly. On the box there is a list of recommended dimmers to use by Lutron. We used this one: Lutron MACL-153M-WH Single Pole Dimmer. I actually used two dimmers split between 6 of these lights. Works very well.✔The light is very thin as you can see in one of the pictures and has a easy plug in to the light. After you make a hole for the light just use the two clips on the back and they will hold it up in the sheetrock. ⚠ **Important** Even though the company calls these lights "6 inch" you will need a 6 3/8 hole saw. This will save you the trouble of using a 6 inch hole saw and then finding out you have to mess around with the sheetrock saw and make the hole just a little bit bigger to make them fit. MEASURE the lights yourself when you get them to make sure.👀Likes:1.) Most parts included for easy install.2.) Rated to install next to insulation because they don't get hot like can lights.3.) Nice and bright.4.) Light is very thin and lightweight. (about one half inch)5.) 4000K which is a nice whitish color for us.6.) I like the ease of installing. The lights dim as advertised 5% but it would be nicer if they could dim beyond that. The lights are bright and 5% feels a bit too bright for me compared to a fully dimmable light. The white color of the trim looks a bit off compared to the ceiling white. It could just be my ceiling paint though.

The recessed ceiling lights were easy to install and look great....they were a good choice.

This product is not as advertised. It is not a 6” light it is 6 1/4”. I have written twice and and had no response to my questions.
