The spring is way too weak won’t even dent A 22 cal blank.just an all around POS firing pin is stainless.stainless is a tough metal it’s not a case hardened metal.the insert you get should be offset to hit the rim of a rim fire cartridge pure junk I really didn’t think it would work but I thought I’d give it a try stay away from this stay far away. i should have listened to other peoples reviews but instead decided to try it for myself and it does not even come close to firing a 12 gauge, have not even bothered trying the .22 adapter because .22 is a rim fire cartridge and the adapter has a center bored hole so i already know that's not going to work any better

This does not fire a 22 blank. 12 gage blank does not fit and spring is no even close to being strong enough to activate a 209 primer. Only nice thing about this is it is light weight
