My neck evidently is bigger than most so I can’t fit a 16” chain which seems to be the standard nowadays. I can’t wear a cute necklace without an extender. I appreciate that these are pure gold and affordable. I bought multiples so I don’t have to keep switching them out when I change my necklaces. I recently was on a cruise and wanted to buy a $975 necklace but the chain wouldn’t fit and they didn’t have longer chains to upgrade to. I was appalled at some of the solutions the salesperson was trying to push off on me…chunky chains that didn’t match, gold plated chain links, etc. I still bought the necklace but once I hit land I came online to search for something exactly like this. Perfection.

I didn't want to purchase a new necklace so I got this instead. Works great and adds a little sparkle to the back of my neck.

It is tiny, but what do you expect for a real gold and cheap. Why didn't I think about this before? I will definitely suggest this to my family.

Please note, this review is for the White Gold 2-inch extender. The first two photos are incorrect, those show the tiny links being more rounded. If you look at images 3 and 4 you see the links looking flattened - that is what you actually receive. As it happens, that worked out perfectly for me because the necklace I wanted to extend is exactly the same. But it should be noted and those photos removed because the rounded links are nicer and look better but are not what you will get. The same thing happened to me when I ordered a necklace from Blue Nile, so it seems to be a common error. The flattened links use less gold. I don't mean this as a complaint because the price of this was amazing and I really love how it has an extra loop at 1 inch so you have more options for how you wear your necklace. I totally recommend this as long as you are not bothered aesthetically by this.

Nice extender. It works perfectly for my necklace. Quality is good and it works well with my tiny necklace. I also love that it has two adjustment holes.
