I bought these lights for a project in my classroom and they are amazing! For sure exceeded my expectations! I love the different modes you can pick from to match your style. My students love to pick color for the day! 100% worth the money!

The media could not be loaded. Even though this product can be used outdoors, I decided to use it exclusively inside. I purchased this product to backlight my daughter's bed. She had one on their previously, but it was not very good. This one was somewhat easy to install. It comes with mounting clips that can be screwed in of put on with double sided tape. However, my issue was that there was not a lot of them and there were not enough to go around my daughter's bed securely. I ended up using heavy duty, clear double sided tape and it worked perfectly.I really love that you can cut the light rope to size using the small black marks on the back as reference. Then you go into the app and adjust the length of the string to what you cut it to so it can tailor your animations to that size. It was really easy to cut. Just be sure that you put the cap on the new end.The app is very easy to use to control the light rope. You can adjust the color, animation, and even set a schedule for the lights to turn on and off. The lights can be controlled by Amazon Alexa through the Smart Things app. Additionally, have limited control of the animations through the remote control on the cord. You cycle through the animations by pressing the remote's single button.The light can be seen in the daylight, with the lights on which is nice. The music mode is not very good though. It does bounce around a bit to music, but is nothing like the Wizards in Wonderland video. That is not a feature that I am going to use much anyway.The rope seems and feels pretty sturdy and durable. I really like them. As I mentioned, I like that you can cut it, that it can be controlled by many means, its color section, its brightness, and its ease to install. I really like this rope light and highly recommend it.

I recently purchased the Ligency Neon Rope Lights, 16.4ft Smart LED Strip Lights, and I am very impressed with them. I bought these because of their ability to turn on and off *without* an app (which I cannot stand -- this trend of having to have an app to control lights, so annoying).I do love them, great colors, but still a bit of a pain to control manually, but possible. The app worked once, but now it refuses to continue to work, wants us to find the lights again but it can't find them (ugh - how much of our lives have we wasted trying to connect and reconnect bluetooth devices??)Overall would recommend, but not 5 stars because of flakiness of app / bluetooth thing!

Works great cool light up options , nice and thick, for is the purple color but it’s for my son so he does his own thing with them. It’s pretty cool that it has a remote with it. Nice price .

I have several sets of rope light and I wanted some that are programmable and offer more creative control in the settings. Although I’m still getting the hang of the app, these are fantastic for that so far - the leds are individually controlled, allowing much more control over how the lights look and behave together. Other sets only have settings change all the colors in the light at once, so you won’t get a “chasing rainbow” effect like you can with these.My only concern so far is that the lights are primarily app controlled, the built-in controller is rather lacking, and they don’t come with a remote like many other lights, so I’m worried about whether the app controlled settings and functions will be usable in settings without Wi-Fi (like camping) or if I bring them out out of the house. We’ll see what happens!Very happy with them overall!

The media could not be loaded. I really love this product because it is multi colored and fun to play with. It's very flexible and you can make different shapes and words. My kids like to play with the neon rope light on a magnet board. We bought extra holders and superglued magnets so we can change the design any time we want. The really nice thing about this product is that the app is totally free! You can change different segment of the neon rope light and the app provides different pattern for you. It's nice when you can make your own patterns too.

Really good led strip and easy to install. App is really good, but need more options to integrate with google home and presets of light.

This LED strip is NOT RGBIC, its app has very basic controls for this strip and very LIMITED on what you can do.Still a good, flexible strip that works.

Ligency gratefully offered a full refund. They offered their excuses. Maybe I was unlucky with the product! I liked the colours and animations and the fact that it worked with Alexa. I reached out to the seller but got no response. The return period expired 1 month after purchase. After 3 months of perfect working, it started by not connecting and stopped working completely. The App says it's connected but the lights do not work at all. If the seller reaches out I will update this review.
