IMPORTANT NOTE: The 4 Gang Socket is Not Designed to be used outdoors - it must be placed indoors only and it must be kept away from anywhere that it may come in contact with water. ie. on a tent floor, on the grass etc - it could be left to hang over a pole or similar. Please ensure you uncoil the entire lead as much as you can, leaving cables coiled in a circle can cause the cable to overheat, this is the case with any cable so it is always recommended to uncoil cables, the longer the cable, the more important this is. These hookups will carry around 3.5kW (kiloWatt / 3500 Watts) - It will be more depending on the length of the hookup, but 3.5kW covers all sizes we have available. Example, if you plug in 2 x 2000 watt heaters you will trip the sites power supply - check the wattaeg of the products you are usung - a camping kettle runs around 700 watts, but a household kettle would use more than double that Review: If you're going on holiday with electric hook up you need this - This is great. We were able to run our inside tent items such as cool box electric and charge our phones, use kettle and pump up our ekectric pump operated airbed all on one trailer. It's safe as it's got the rotating cover and sufficient length to reach to a 6 man tent even when the tent isn't directly adjacent to the socket connection point in the field.
