Shearer Candles Persian Lime Scented Jar Candle with Silver Lid - Green

The candles come in attractive jars but it's next to impossible to peel off the labels without damaging the colour coating on the glass because of this we can't even reuse them with tea lights , come on Mr Shearer use labels with a less aggressive adhesive - it's not rocket science.The candles burn wildly with leaping, guttering flames and last about 2 mins, well a little more, maybe an hour! They were nicely scented for their brief moment of glory.All in all not good and certainly not value for money.

Bought this as a gift so not quite sure how it smells when lit, but just in the jar, it smells quiet fresh. The lids are not tight on the jar and are quite loose, almost like its the wrong size lids, so I used some clear double sided tape to keep it still, as it moves around quite a bit.I ordered about 20 for an event I had, and because of the loose lids, some arrived broken. But the seller replaced those ones for me.I preferred the smell of the black if i'm honest.

I ordered 3 of these in different scents as a christmas present. When I opened the box I found two candles wrapped in bubble wrap, the third had just been thrown in - no protection or care. Not only that, the candle was missing the metal lid as pictured. The overall quality is nothing like the pictures, they are quite scruffy looking and the smell is very weak. My advice for the money invest in a small Yankee candle. The seller should feel bad for charging £7 for this product. Needless to say - returned!

Really punchy, vibrant smell. Absolutely gorgeous and I felt slightly sad to be giving it to someone else!

Smell is not good, just very soapy and it’s small for the price
