Arrived cracked so proven it is a bit flimsy

Absolutely shocking item, sub-standard materials. The item arrived very well packaged externally (by Amazon) however the item was in a sealed plastic bag, the contents of which was damaged/broken. Plastic no longer aligned, cracked and nolonger firlt for purpose. Very disappointing. Read the reviews stating this & naively thought it wouldn't happen to me 🙄

Following the installation of some new equipment we needed to put a protective splash cover over a double electric socket. This item enabled us to do that at a very reasonable price. Price varies according to finish but the white one was only £8.49 at the time of this review which makes it very good value for money.Fitting is done via a self adhesive strip around the rear of the case. In our case this was being placed on a wooden wall. The adhesive backing strip did need to have the cover removed from both sides which seem a bit odd as it then had to be refitted into the channel on the rear of the cover. However, once that was completed the cover was pressed on to the wall and left for a few minutes.It is best used with conventional three pin plugs. A couple of oddly shaped ones in our plug collection didn't fit fully into the cover, but the splash protection still worked.

Wasn't great the idea is good but a bit flimsy

Our freezer is plugged into one of the countertop sockets. This means that sometimes it gets accidentally knocked and switched off and once this caused it to completely defrost. Before we had gaffer taped a plastic container over the sockets to prevent this from happening again but this is a much better looking and much more professional solution. It looks great and I can throw away our home made alternative.
