I waited a bit to try this kit out, as I have never given myself a diy wax before.The was warmer was easy to use, and got the wax just the right temperature. It was a bit of a learning curve to apply the wax and pull it off correctly to remove hair (I did my lower legs to start).The instructions were terrible, and useless. I did read all the reviews and watched some helpful videos online before giving this a go.I would recommend this kit, but you'll definitely want to do your own research on how to use it properly, and also, buy a good amount of hard wax beads for it, because it only comes with a few tiny sample sizes.

If this is your first experience with using an at-home waxing kit, you are probably going to struggle. The instructions that come in the box are useless and don’t even make sense. I watched the videos for the product but they were essentially unboxing it. Even the directions on the back of the wax beads weren’t helpful. First, I couldn’t figure out how I was supposed to use the paper collar. I ended up ripping it. (A demo would have been nice). The directions included in the box said to heat to 100. I thought that was 100 degrees. I only used a small amount of beads since I only planned to do my upper lip. The beads would have never melted. I finally saw another review that said that meant 100% / high. The beads melted quickly after that but again, a demo would have been nice. I still didn’t know what temp would be safe for my upper lip so I had to google. Would have been nice to have that explained. Then I was confused —- do I heat to the max temp then turn it down to the suggested 130 degrees?? I had no idea but tried it. I have no idea why but I had to go over one small area 5 or 6 times. It just wouldn’t get the hair. It comes with pre/post sprays but it wasn’t explained as to how to use them. Do I spray it on and wipe it off, then wax? That should have been explained /demoed. And one of the spray bootlegs quit working after a couple of squirts. If you are experienced, you could probably skip the instructions and get started but Newbies like me will probably be lost and very frustrated!!

It took way too long for the wax to melt, which makes me suspect that the melting pot is not up to par. Also, I have used hard wax for my facial hair for years, but this wax did not perform as well as my former wax did. In an effort to give this product the benefit of the doubt, I plan to try using it again today before making a decision to send it back or keep it. Accordingly, I will update this review if necessary.My second use of this product was much better than the first. It heated pretty quickly, so I assume my first poor experience was due solely to operator (ME) error. As for the wax, the second use was much improved as well!!!!!!

I hate plucking my eyebrows and lip. And I hate when I have to go into a salon and have it done. But now, with this wax warmer, I can do it at home. It doesn’t take long for the wax to heat up. And it doesn’t take much either. Just have to get over, tearing the wax off yourself. Comes with everything to do at home. I am so happy I’m able to take of myself at home. I definitely recommend this product.

The Wax Heating system includes just about everything one will need to complete hair removal with wax. Included in my set were the instructions, a variety wax fragrant packages, application sticks, warmer, and wax remover spray. I was initially excited to try and use this waxing unit but ultimately was met with a level of disappointment due to the repeated times the unit was required to run and reheat in order to melt the wax initially. Once, the wax melted and was applied the other source of disappointment was the lack or very minimal hair removal in and around the area where the wax was applied.

The wax remover kit comes with everything you need and it is easy to use. I love that the wax is easy to clean up, just let it harden and the remaining wax comes out easily.

This is a nice wax starter kit. I like that it comes with a pre and post wax oil, some of the kits don’t include that. Finding the wax bead bags are like a treasure hunting, there’s one at a different corner of the box. The wax warmer was easy to use, I like having the temperature display. For the price, it’s a good value kit. I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking to try waxing at home.
