This project works perfectly for our intentions. We take it camping and traveling so we can project a movie when there is no TV around. It's bright enough for our nighttime viewing and does well even near a fire putting off substantial light. The onboard speaker isn't great but it will do if you sit near it and are in a quiet place. A Bluetooth speaker takes care of that no problem. I also use headphones if it's just me watching. Overall happy with this purchase. And the family enjoys movie nights away from home. Be sure to realize that you cannot cast your phone screen via WiFi to project Netflix Hulu Disney+ or others due to copyright agreements. YouTube works however. You can also plug in a fire stick or Roku and those work fine. You just can't wirelessly cast most streaming services from your phone. My work around for this it to use a USBC to HDMI and I can plug my phone into the projector and I can use all the streaming apps just fine. Pair that with a Bluetooth speaker and we have a nice entertainment setup for the kids when we camp. I always have a few movies downloaded so we can enjoy even when we are out of cellular service and wifi availability. Carrying case, mini tripod and remote are all appreciated extras!

The GooDee DLP Projector is built really well, it's solid and not flimsy like my old projector. I opened the box and turned it on, it had one bar of charge on it. I plugged my 4TB portable hard drive to it and it recognized the hard drive-in seconds, not minutes. My Samsung TV takes minutes to recognize the hard drive. I was able to find the movie I wanted to play quickly; this unit doesn't hesitate when scrolling through a large selection of movies. It's awesome that its rechargeable and does not need to be plugged in. I also like the option of being able to connect my portable jumper pack to it if I want to watch a lot of movies on this projector in my backyard. Can't wait to try it out tonight in the backyard. Would highly recommend this projector, you get a really great quality product for the great price Amazon has it for $70.00 off the $259.89 price. Probably going to buy another unit for mounting in my garage permanently.

1. Buy this one because the accesories and is able to be charge via USB Type C, for me a plus. 2. Can mirror Android/iOS, but copyright content will no show on display. (Netflix, Disney + etc) 3.If you want to keep charging on the go with battery bank is possible but please refer to the image in the review to use the right one. I highlited the test. 4. In the user manual quote picture mode. I wans't able to find it in the setting so, send an email to the support team, but unfortunately this feature is not available in this version. They a working to fix it. 5. The price drop time thru time so if you able to catch in the lower price is a good deal. 6. Remote and on top controler a plus. 7.Overall good product, have space to improve, the design is good, accesories included like it, image quality good, easy to set up, good customer service.

This projector is great for anyone on the go, traveling or wanting to do a pop-up presentation. You can use it to watch movies anywhere you can find a large flat white surface or use a sheet as a screen in a pinch. You could even use the side of a building and do outdoor movies. It has a great long lasting battery for those traveling who wanted to a watch a movie camping or something like that. Or if you were at a conference and needed to do a presentation but didn't have an outlet close by. You can use it with the included tripod or use it with your own tripod. Any sort of tripod should work. I used it with one I had to get the right angle. You can connect the projector wirelessly to your phone in a couple easy steps to show your friends pictures or videos from your iphone or android phone. In addition to wireless, it also has USB, USB-C and HDMI. It comes with a remote for easy setup and functions. It also comes with a handy carrying case and necessary cords and charger! Its very small and lightweight. Easy to pack for on the go! Overall I've been very happy with it!

Slick looking projector, remote is a leap forward for me to select the input (why do none of these nano projectors have the default input option). Not that bright from the ratings i was hoping for. HDMI is weak, old projector worked just fine but this one seems flakey on stability. Its got super good and lame all the same time.

I really wanted to like and keep this projector; however, the WiFi range was awful. The projector is extremely easy to use, and the picture quality is fine for personal use or quick on-the-fly professional use. The issue is with the internal WiFi capability; it has little to no range. I'm not an IT expert, so I may be missing something, but unless I'm within 20' of my router, the projector will not pick-up/connect to the WiFi, and therefore, is practically worthless for my purposes (outdoor projecting in hot tub or by fire-pit, or basement for movies on the wall). BTW, all my WiFi capable equipment work fine within the same perimeter, but this projector cannot pick-up/connect to the WiFi for some reason, which is why I had to return it.

I looked forward to using the Goodee Mini Projector for travel, but it was a major disappointment. Here's why: The Good Perfect Size for Travel: The mini projector's compact size is ideal for on-the-go use. It comes in a nice bag and includes a handy little tripod. Easy Setup: The initial setup appeared straightforward, with a clean, open presentation. The Bad USB thumb drive Issues: Despite trying multiple types of media, the projector couldn't read anything from a USB thumb drive. This was a massive letdown as it was one of the primary features I was excited about. Different Menu: The device I received has a completely different menu from what was advertised on both the order and Goodee product pages. This inconsistency is frustrating and misleading. The Ugly Nonexistent Customer Service: Goodee’s website boasts live chat support and quick response customer service via email or phone. In reality, I received no contact, no response, nothing. Completely unprofessional. Overall Functionality: The projector powers on, but what's the point if it can't do its job? It doesn’t work as advertised, and there is no support to fix the issues. Final Thoughts I was excited about having a portable projector to watch movies and shows while traveling. This is my first mini projector, and I hoped it would complement my home-end projector. Unfortunately, the Goodee Mini Projector didn't meet expectations at all. To make matters worse, similar models are available at half the price, making this feel like a total waste of money. Please avoid the frustration and look elsewhere. I won't buy from Goodee again, and I suggest you don't either.

This is my second projector. Even though 4K ones are plentiful nowadays, I really like the size and case that this one provides. One key feature that is really important is that this projector only outputs video, it does not generate it. So, you will need a Firestick or Roku which is really what you want anyway. My other projector is Android based and takes a long time just for me to navigate and get to the HDMI input where I utimately use the Firestick. Auto keystone feature worked great, the only issue is that the picture was darker than I expected or needed. You probably wont run on batteries but its good to know that they will keep the projector running if someone trips the power cord. I did not test the run time of the battery but the specs are inline with the projected use time. Overall, its a good projector for the price point.
