My kids love Lego and building, but fell in love with the PLUS PLUS puzzle at their after school program. They enjoy the ability to build to a design, similar to Lego, but the flexibility to build to their imagination. Though you can do this with Lego, this style offers more options.Either way, if you have young builders, this is an easy win.

We have never tried plus plus blocks before, so I picked this up for my 4 year old who loves building. Pros: he loved them! Spent hours playing with these blocks, was able to build all kinds of cool things because there were so many. He was able to build the candy cane from the instructions. Cons: the only con was that I think he's a little young for the "guided building" aspect. He didn't *want* to make a wreath, he got bored after two blocks and wanted to build a slime shooter, haha! I absolutely don't want to discourage his creativity so I didn't push it. I'm sure for an older child or one who is more interested in following step by step instructions, they would love that part as well.Overall, I'm really pleased with it! Anything that provides my kids hours of fun that's not on a screen is a good deal to me!

Great idea for a puzzle/building kit. Includes several extra pieces in different colors, so I guess you could make your own design. The wreath looks great when finished, but feels flimsy, like it could fall apart if moved or picked up the wrong way. The instructions were very clear as you just needed to put the correct color on the numbered spot on the diagram.

This was so fun! The visual directions made this project super easy to complete with my 8 year old son. We had fun trying out the different options for decorating the wreath and decided that a combination of candy canes and lights were our favorite.There are not enough pieces to complete the Danish Julehjerte and the candy canes, but you can do a wreath with or without lights and the Julehjerte. The kit does come with plenty of extra pieces for lights and my son enjoyed playing with these to make his own designs while I hung the wreath we made. The template for the wreath even left a convenient hole in the back of the bow placement so the wreath could be hung with a single nail. This will be a fun way to include the kids in the yearly decorating for years to come.

I try to provide Christmas activities for my grandson leading up to the big day. This seems perfect and he’ll be proud to display it when it’s completed. Our whole family will be together so I’m sure some of the adults will enjoy helping with it since this will be my grandson’s first experience with Plus Plus. Delighted to have it!

Everything appeared to be included in the box- nothing missing. Every year we have the elf on the shelf come visit our house around Christmas time. He always brings my 6 year old son something from the north pole for them to do together. I thought this would be perfect for the elf to bring! It is definitely unique. The elf usually comes right before or right after thanksgiving. So I will update my review once my son and the elf do this activity together. It seems like it will be fun!

This is SUCH a fun concept for kids who love plus plus and are ready to do more with it! The pattern was extremely easy to follow and I love that it could be customized. I picked this up for my 8 year old but even my 3 year old was easily able to do it with supervision. Pieces fit together easily and it is intuitive to follow - felt like completing puzzle. Now we’re excited for more plus plus patterns!
