I'm not sure but i think the frame is made from steel which is obviously a more suitable material for the frame as it's much stronger. The only problem is after examining the chambers and fins, i found that the chambers are not as wide as the thickness of the radiator, they are actually 2 separate chambers side by side with a few mm gap in between. Also then fins have tiny spaced cut outs all the way through them. I think this is the reason they seem to significantly restrict the airflow through the radiator. This is also irritating because given that the chambers are actually rows of two separate chambers not one big one, it might reduce the copper surface area the water comes into contact with. One thing is for sure though, the airflow does seem fairly restricted to me. The problem is i haven't seen an other radiators up close so I don't know if this is a deliberate design or if it's to keep manufacturing costs down. It does do it's job very well though. It manages to keep my amd fx9590 cool even on a stress test which is no mean feat. And as i say it does look well made. I just think it could be improved so I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars. Oh and also, mine only came with 8x30 mm screws so if you want fans on both sides you'll need to buy another 8 screws. All in all, with the price considered and the fact that it does perform well i still think it is good value. I would definitely recommend for the price.
