Could only get it to work for 2 eyes with an external power supply
Bought this unit to run 2 magic eyes for TVs in different rooms, and connected as per the instructions. Unfortunately only one of the eyes worked. After checking that the sky box was inputting 9v to the unit, I found the output was only 5.4v, and assumed that it was a faulty unit. Having tried a new unit with the same results I decided to try a separate power supply, rather than the 9v supplied by the sky box... The instructions say 9v, but 12v is printed on the unit itself by the input socket, so played it safe by starting with a 9v input, as per the output from the sky box, but again was only getting about 6v out. Next, I tried the adaptor setting on 12v DC and the result was 9v out, FINALLY! The next issue was to work out the current requirements of the unit, and considering that the sky box outputs 50mA, I went for the smallest 12v adaptor with a 3.5mm jack I could find which is actually rated at 500mA. The unit now works perfectly, with 9v at each of the magic eyes, and everything working as it shouldI emailed Labgear Technical support to ask why the units don't output 9v on each channel, with a 9v input from the sky box (as per the instructions), but after nearly a week they haven't replied....In conclusion, the unit works exactly as it should, but only with a 12v DC external power supply.Thank you Labgear for costing me a day messing about, along with upgrading my cable, which I thought was initially the problem.

Only 1 of 2 magic eyes work. Poor info on 12v adaptor.
Only 1 magic works when 2 are connected. I want to try the 12v power supply but there is no info as to the The mA to use.
