Tile Repair Kit, Ceramic & Porcelain Tile Chip & Crack Repair, Color Match

Bought these to do a quick job on a house we were selling. Thought “hey, it’s better than nothing”. Turned out to be a nice finish and appears to be good quality. Easy process- just do yourself a favor and spend some real time in prepping the surface.

This kit is fantastic. You could match absolutely any color. It comes with everything you need.But take it from me do not use a long fingernail to scoop it. This stuff doesn’t come off ! This is a buy again item.

It’s 4 stars instead of 3 because it works well. I used it to patch an about 4 spots on a hot tub, above and below the water line. The tub is always covered and it’s part of the pool water. Was easy enough to mix and spread and looked good afterwards. The issue is that it yellowed in about 3 weeks. It’s water tight so it worked. Too bad it did look good.

This stuff works great. Discovered that creating your color works best using Part A alone. After you get your desired tint mix in Part B. Allows a much longer work time.

Mmm... What can I say? It does fill a chipped tile, but the larger the area you need to repair, the worse the result gets. The product doesn’t level itself, so you have to do your best to apply it as smoothly and evenly as possible. Sanding isn’t easy either, because you don’t want to scratch the tile, and once the product dries, it’s obviously quite hard. Another challenge is matching the color. You almost need to be an artist to get the right shade, especially if your tile isn’t a solid color. Overall, it works for filling a chipped tile, but don’t expect a perfect repair. You’ll probably notice the fix every time you look at the repaired area.

Worked well to seal and repair the tile floor crack. A lot of color options to find your perfect match. Dries quickly and I can hardly see the crack. I am happy with it.

You know to be honest I was a little surprised I thought this was going to be crappy I really was not expecting this to work and it is a lot of effort it is a lot of time however it actually worked really really well I got it to the point that you could not even really tell that I had used it to repair something and again it took a lot of work and a lot of time but you know in the end it it came out really well but definitely you want to get it as thin as possible because keep in mind any extra you have to sand off so it's just like patching a wall You don't want to put a bunch of drywall patch that you have to sand off so you want to get it as thin as possible but still have enough that you can get a flat surface when you sand it.

Prepared and applied exactly per per manufacturer's instructions, weighted, the 24-hour curing time, went to sand it as instructed and the compound completely failed and lifted right out of the small chip. I will not be buying this product again and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely useless for colour matching. I tried eight separate times to mix the colours according to the supplied colour chart, and not once did I manage to get anything even remotely close to the shade I needed. Eventually gave up. The colour wasn’t just slightly off — it wasn’t even close: brown mixed with white gave me pink shade! For a ceramic tile repair product where matching the existing tile is essential, this defeats the entire purpose. Very disappointing and a complete waste of time and money.
