Seem built good and heavy

A little tight
The valve is very attractive and clearly of good quality. However, it was nearly impossible to thread a 1/4" MPT fitting into the female side. Most fittings (I tried several different types) will grab only about half a thread - if that - even without Teflon tape. I finally found a 90 degree fitting that threaded in a few threads and was able to use the valve with that between the valve and the next component, but for many applications it will simply not work. I even tried to tap it with a1/4" NPT tap, but the hole was too shallow for that to do any good.

Well worth the money
I used this to extend a radiator drain so it doesn't drain on the front crossmember and make a puddle the size of Lake Erie on the shop floor.

plastic handle now twists 360 degrees after only a few months.

Machined wrong - usless
The 1/4' NPT female threads are machined too small to accept a connection. All of the valves were equally erroneous. Also, the 1/4' thread is just a bushing, which came out when I had to use a wrench to get the stuck piece unthreaded, exposing the valve seat. Do not buy this brand.

These are junk
Avoid the shut off valves. They are junk. Both of the valves in the two pack leaked.

Does not seal when shut off
I bought this as a shut off valve for my Air Compressor. Installed with new fittings and put Teflon Tape on the threads. Plugged in compressor and waited for it to fill tank and shut off. Leaking air from internal ball mechanism and air escaping between main body and blue shut off lever. I purchased this to replace my original one that has worn out after 30+ years. I'm sure if was used for water you would have a severe leak. $25.00 for 2 of these was not worth it. Should definitely return these. Very disappointed with this purchase.

Not 1/4 NPT
this valve is male 1/4 npt but the female side looks like a "J" type fitting, not NPT
