After over 5 years with an ender3 and a few upgrades I decided it's time to renew. Got fed up with endless setting up and print failures so decided to take a chance on the K1. Wow what a difference and blimey it's quick, impressed with how well it coped with filament running out. Endless problems with the old machine but not with this one. I consider myself a mere beginner so a few pointers for a few especially ones about gear failure. Read the instructions like me and use retract option on menu you will see it heats the nozzle and retracts. Thought I'd try a big print which resulted in running out of filament but continued just fine after putting new reel on (see picture) if I tried printing this on the ender it would have taken about a day but on the k1 it was about 3 hours.

Love the prints, finished the job a lot faster than my old ender 3. Auto levels and can print remotely with the creality app via wifi

Horrible purchase, it suffers from VFA, this is where the belt lines are constantly appearing on the walls of the print. This makes my prints look very bad and I could never get rid of this artifacting. The extruder overheats and stops extruding filament, this makes this printer only work for around an hour before it stops working. I only bought this printer because it looked nice and I expected the print quality to also look nice but this was a disappointment. Now creality is selling a new k1c printer which is supposed to fix vfa, which shows that this product is really had. Returned this.

Don't understand why creality gets a bad name still going strong nearly 2 years now I also own a bambu lab but always use the K1 as my back up and love it.

I have owned multiple Creality printers, but this is without a doubt the worst of them all. Software wise, the Creality Print app is awful and full of micro payment nonsense, plus when I registered the printer, Creality tried to charge me £70 for the premium subscription, even though I didnt agree to it or use it. Hardware wise, I have already had to replace the entire hot end due to a large jam, and buy a new build plate because it has zero bed adhesion (even with multiple glues). Plus the hot end motor is awful and jams with PLA, let alone when I've tried to use TPU. Oh, and I've just got a new error "The nozle is not heating as expected", so I guess I need to strip it down again! Unless you like tinkering and constantly rebuilding, avoid this printer!

This is an awesome printer and I the Creality Print software very functional. Had this for a while now and it has not let me down. Only gripes are the rear spool holder being awkward to get at and the camera very occasionally drops out.

First printer and it's literally not been off for a month. Super reliable and quickly got to grips with it. I use it to design a print rc boats and here are two of them here.

This printer only worked for about 1 weekend in total time in the month I've had it it has always had an issue printing or system error, in the time I had it working consistently I left it alone for 40min to print a small object and the entire print failed and wrapped around d the nozzle and into the system I had to replace various pieces with the upgraded pieced as filament kept getting stuck and jammed and snapped within it, thank God I bought this on sale cos it definitely wasn't worth full price and trying to fix this and actually fixing it wasn't easy as there online e help page wasn't helpful and had no real instructions
