Perfect pen for our Shih Tzu. We have tried various crates and enclosures without success. He always finds a way to escape or make us worry that he will hurt himself. We frequently leave it open & he chooses to go in. We are so happy to have a safe space to enclose him when necessary. We also love the way this pen looks. We did not have any problems assembling, although it might be more difficult to do alone (we had 2 people working on it).

This is such a great idea. We use it instead of a crate so it is less confining. Our dog is very happy. The company also has amazing customer service. I highly recommend this great product.

I have to set up a recovery zone for my frenchie having spine surgery. I ordered a regular crate, but was unhappy with how dark and jail-like it felt. This is a much lovelier set up and just feels and looks more welcoming and comfortable.

The media could not be loaded. If you splurge on one pet item I recommend it be this crate. I was getting alerts from Furbo (dog camera) when my puppy was in the wire crate of the same size. She would try climbing it and cry dramatically. It was stressing me out because Furbo will announce this and send you a video while you’re at work. I was also getting accidents in the house because she had an aversion to going in the wire crate to use her indoor toilet. This is now going on 3 months of dog crate training which all references indicated that she would be enjoying the safe space by now. She wasn’t!That changed immediately after setting this one up in the same position. The clear view takes away the anxiety of being locked up while still containing my pet. The feeling is also that it is bigger even though it is the same size. I have time to take off my shoes and put my bag down when i get home because she doesn’t throw herself up against the wire crate as she used to. She just sees me come in and gets mildly excited as I sit and settle in. Just seeing me is an pacifying advantage now. When I’m home I leave it open and the day of set up she went back in to find her potty and peed there. I’m estimating that 30 minutes passed before she voluntarily went in this thing. My jaw dropped. Initially I thought the cost was high so I looked to build my own and 3D print the pieces using solid works and a zortrax printer but after sourcing the acrylic and aluminum and adding up the costs of shipping and having the aluminum cut I was barely saving pennies. Also after receiving I noted that the aluminum has slots for the plastic to slide in which was not a feature I noticed and would cost more than my estimate. I saved myself the work and bought the item and am surprised at the details such as the door locks and rising entry bar. It’s well thought out and there are no competitors. The person that thought this out and owns this business is gonna be filthy rich and deservedly so. I have noticed no caveat about the item. It looks great in my living room. Barely noticeable where as a wire cage is just an eyesore in a space with well placed design. I added pics as mine is the small size and my dog is a 6lb Mini Schnauzer for reference. Fits the potty tray, toy basket, and travel purse she likes to sleep in during the day with a fuzzy blanket and she still has room to toss about although when I check the Furbo she’s usually sleeping now while I’m at work. The clear crate has brought us both the peace of mind to coexist in a lovely way. This is after all, the child of another species that you take the responsibility to raise and keep. So in the long run the fiscal cost is of little consequence.
