Great price and product
This is priced so much better than the ones offered in stores! The amount of heat was perfect for what we needed. It worked out great at night time since it did not have a light. Nobody was kept awake by a bright light!

Really neat, the 100 watt will warm up a small bathroom- enough to take the chill off at least.
If you make up a porclain lamp holder, Ultra Pro is a good brand, and screw it up-right on a couple 2 x 4 blocks of wood so it wont tip over, you can use one of these 100 watt bulbs as a heat source for a small unheated room and it only costs as much as a 100 watt light bulb.. or if you use the very lowest wattage, 25 or 35, it will keep a well house warm enough in winter, rather then the hard to find 25 watt incandescent bullbs I have always used for years and years. A friend told me about these and tho you cant tell they are on-- as they dont light up --they give off more heat then an equal watt incandescent bulb. :)

It's Hot Baby! Keeping Chicken Coop Warm
UPDATE: 12/8/25 It's been in -1 to -5F for a few days now, not getting above 7F during the day. I ended up buying two of these lights to heat my 6W x 7Lc x 6H chicken coop with 4 large breed birds because 1 was not enough. We run them off of a Generac 6500/8125 watt generator which gave us 12hrs on a 6.2gallon full tank of gasoline. I know that they put out over 550F degrees EACH because I took a temp gun to them. The coop is uninsulated but does have R-7 Reflectix on the ceiling to cast heat back down to the birds. It got the coop to 35-40 at night and 40-46F at the ceiling during the day (no sun) but the floor was at 32F with 6-8 inches of hemp bedding. Having tried these and your standard 250 watt red heat lamp bulbs the heat lamps bulbs I can def say that the traditional red heat lamp bulbs raise the temp slightly higher but they also keep my birds up at night. This is great if you want them to lay eggs in the winter, we do not, we wanted to give them a natural break. I ended up pairing these bulbs with 2 Cozy brooder plate heaters at roost level (I have them running off of a EcoFlow Delta2 + Smart Extra Battery that last 12hrs) which the chickens seem to like. They don't huddle together nor do they have frost bite on their feet or combs. I'm going to keep these and use them but if the temp drops lower than -5 again I'm going to swtich to the standard 250watt red light heat lamp bulbs because I know they will raise the temp slighly higher. I've only had it for a couple of days but so far I've faired better than others. 1. It didn't come broken 2. It works in my regular, large, metal brooder lamp, but mine have ceramic bases 3. After 10 min, the heat level got to 550 degrees at the bottom of the bulb and 49 at the roost leve when it was 30F degrees, which was roughly 24 inches below the lamp. 4. It worked with a ThermoCube, turning the device off when it got over 45F 5. The 6w x 7l x 6h coop was 40 degrees and in 15 min it got to 50 degrees with the sun out during the day. NOTE: I didn't use the ThermoCube for this test. 6. There is no light level, the bulb is black so no brightness either. I only need it above freezing for my chickens and this along with a ThermoCube will do the trick when the temp drops to 20 to -5 but anything below -5 they do not work as well as the traditional 250 watt red heat lamp bulbs

The snake likes it
During the summer, our house is warm enough for the snake. However, we needed something other than just a heat mat for colder months. I keep this in a heat lamp over the tank, on the other side of the screen. It works perfectly. It starts warming up right away. The snake seems to enjoy it.

Good price, just ordered 2 more, rapid delivery, packaged extremely well, works well.
ITEM: BOEESPAT 60W Ceramic Heat Emitter, Reptile Heat Bulbs, Ceramic Heat Lamp 2/pk. PROS: Good price, just ordered 2 more, rapid delivery, packaged extremely well, works better than my previous, 100watt reflector bulbs. This ceramic heater, installed above the wire screen, 40 gallon tank, covering), was exactly what my bearded dragons needed to be agressive, daily, dubia hunters. My previous, narrow metal reflectors trapped heat behind these heater disks; the heat was then lost by radiating from the top/outside the narrow reflector, so I replaced the narrow reflectors with Fluker 8.5 inch, metal reflectors with ceramic sockets and spring clamps. CONS: one heater was a little slower getting hot, but achieved full temp within 5 min. Also, after turning off this ceramic heating element, it takes a while before the heater cools down, so be very careful.

Didn't heat as expected
I got these this morning used them in my chick brooder to replace the red lamp which was the same wattage after 4 hours the brooder didn't go over 80 degrees. I put the red light back in and its now at 95 where I need it to be. I read that the wattages should be the same to et the same results so I don't know if my info was wrong or if there was something wrong with these bulbs but needless to say they didn't get the brooder temp up to 95 degrees like the bulb does and both are 74 watts.

Works well for my tortoise and the heat is great However, for the first week or so, it made a weird sound when it was on where it sounded like something was broken inside and moving around inside - but after the first week the sound was gone
