Bombardier DS650 Carburetor Fits For Can AM DS650 DS650 Quest 500 Quest 650 Carb ATV Quad

These are hard to find else where. I was spectacle on whether it was going to be new and fit my bombardier 650ds and it actually did. It was brand new with all its parts and perfect fit for my quad.

The only way you could use this, is if you removed the entire throttle cable assembly from the old one, and put it on this one. The new one is not only pointing in the wrong direction, it has a pressed in tube, with threads out at the end. If, you used it you would need a longer throttle cable. I could go on and on. No directions at all, just a little bag of parts that must go on there somewhere. I gave up, cleaned the carb and put the old one back on, and put this one up on a shelf. Some day I will need a needle valve or a float, and they may fit. But dont order this, thinking you are just going to bolt it on. It looks the same, but it wont work with out taking the throttle cable housing and spring off, and reversing it. Plus you will need a longer throttle cable.

Incorrect size for Quest 650.

Nice carburetor and seem to work fine only problem is it the throttle placement on the carb will not work with a 500 quest, this must be changed out with the throttle piece from the old carb. it's a pain to do but doable, other than that it is a direct fit. Basically the throttle input on this is in the front and on the rear of the original and the new one hits the water inlet on the head.

Worked perfect for our 2001 bombardier 650. Started right up and has never ran this good.
