This product is amazing! Installed in 2 mins on my 2019 Cadillac xt5. Works great. The stop/start feature has been disabled and everything works correctly. No check engine and remote start works normally.

Easy to install. Works like a charm. I was worried the hood ajar warning would be on all the time and it would affect remote start but doesn't do either. Remote start works fine and no warning messages on. It no longer dies at stops just like a normal car. Well worth it.

My sister owns an Equinox was fed up of the auto stop feature at redlights and in highway traffic, so I did some research and bought this for her. The install was easy and I did it myself, and it works like a charm no more auto stop at red lights and in traffic, her starter will now last longer.

Ordered this for my 2020 Buick Enclave which has the horrible auto stop feature. I installed this in just a few minutes and took it for a drive and it works perfectly. No stops. No dash lights came on. Great fix!

2017 Chevy Malibu that on and off was driving me crazy wasn't used to it. I bought this it's been a year and a half super simple to set up one of the best products that I bought to eliminate that on and off. every time that you're in a light or your stopped somewhere. went through inspection with no problem highly highly recommend this product to anybody that would be annoyed with that feature that the car has

So...............bought a 2019 Buick Enclave (used) and absolutely love the car. EXCEPT the stupid "start/stop" technology that was built into it! The issue with the technology in this car is that there was no 'off' button from the factory to disable it like some other makes of vehicles have. In fact, so many complaints from Buick owners about this one issue made them address it and I believe the company added a disable button to them starting maybe with the 2021 models. When we got the car I immediately started searching for answers to disable it and found that you only had a couple of options: 1. you could downshift to manual mode when coming to a stop, or, 2. install a module for about a hundred dollars or more that would fake out the vehicle and make it think that the hood was open (like if a mechanic is working on it and needing the engine running at the same time). So, I learned to "slow roll" stop signs, avoiding coming to a complete stop and later got into the habit of downshifting to manual when coming to a stop. This worked but was fairly annoying and my wife wouldn't have any of it and just drove the car as intended. So every time she would drive it would do the start/stop thing all the time (and at the same time, it has a mind of its own, so it start/stops depending on conditions of the what the computer is seeing). It absolutely drove me crazy thinking about the unecessary wear and tear on the starter and the drain on the battery. So I started re-looking at a defeat and figured I'd have to spring for $100+ to get a module. My latest search pointed at this gizmo, so I thought I'd try it and if it didn't work, I'd send it back. Works like a charm! No issues that I know of. No warning lights or anything. It just drives like a normal car now and it's GREAT doing so. Start/Stop technology, as far as I know isn't government mandated, but was put in place by car manufacturers to make it appear that they were addressing fuel economy and the "climate disaster". If a person believes it does good then that's fine, but building vehicles without a disable button in my opinion is not. I want to choose whether my car tuns off for 1 second before starting back up again or not, or if it turns off and on 20+ times during a short trip downtown. This affordable device allows me to do just that.

Bought this to disable the ANNOYING start/stop feature on my 2018 Chevy Malibu LS. Came in the mail about 2 days after ordering (and I’m not even a Prime member, nice work Amazon 👍🏽) and I put it on and yes it disabled my auto stop but it made my check engine light come on. That made me a little frustrated because I’ve had the car for like 4 years and my check engine lights have never came on, also I’ve seen some reviews of people saying they had the same issue. At first I thought it was defective then I remembered the reviews saying this might happen but then I just decided to make sure I installed it CORRECTLY. I had it in the correct plugs however one of them wasn’t fully flush. As soon as I disconnected then reconnected it and made sure both ends were completely flush and I heard those clicks indicating the connection and those white tabs were pushed in to lock it, I started my car and the check engine light was off, I was like ok maybe user error on my end so I drove around for awhile, went on some errands and yes the auto stop is still disabled but the check engine light didn’t come back on at all. Went to work the next day and still everything’s working fine, auto stop still disabled and no dash lights or error codes. So my suggestion if you’re buying this product is make sure you install it CORRECTLY. Would definitely recommend to anyone who despises the unnecessary auto stop/start feature.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do! 5 minute install, and zero error codes/no lights on dash. Easiest fix for this annoying problem as my 2017 XT5 does not have a button to turn auto start/stop on or off.

I was super skeptical at first as I fully expected to get error codes at startup. But this bypass works as advertised and was super easy to install. HINT: I checked out a few YouTube vids first, just to make sure I didn't wreck or break anything or void things like the warranty. I have compared gas usage and honestly, not costing any more than before for gas either. Plus, no more dreaded delays while the vehicle starts back up after stopping at a light or in traffic.
