Super powerful
The label on this green laser says <5mw. I have another laser rated the same but bluish purple color. This green laser is significantly brighter to the point where I cannot believe the 5mw rating. It has to be at least 25mw+. I pointed it at my skin and feel it starting to burn. If it hit my eyes it probably would be instant damage for life. This thing is really bright. I can see the beam at night and during dimly lit areas. During the day the beam isn't that visible but the point it hits is so bright it shines bright even on direct sunlight. So basically wherever you shine it will be blinding bright. Imagine using a big magnifying glass to amplify the sunlight. That's about how bright this laser gets. I'm not trusting the <5mw rating is it definitely seems significantly more powerful. Even when run until the battery is dead its still super bright. The battery life seems shorter than expected. It lasted me about a day playing with it on and off. If I left it on continously I don't think the battery would last even 30+ minutes. Not sure if mine is defective but I don't complain as the extreme brightness makes up for the poor battery life. I will mainly be using this for CE5 training and this laser beam should definitely have enough power for the aliens to see. I wouldn't even be surprised if someone was on the moon and I blinded them with this laser. I honestly think this laser is around 100mw.

WOW! Super impressed!
This thing is insane. I can't even begin to explain how bright it is, plug the green is excellent for astronomy. It shoots a straight green line to whatever you are pointing at in the night sky. Dangerously bright. I hit a window and got some shine back and feel like I had my eyeball resting on a flash. Operator error there for sure, this is so far 5 stars all around. It uses 18650 batteries that are regularly available just about anywhere.

Charge port vacant, light weight, scuffed. will return
The media could not be loaded. Anticipated arrival so I could carefully entertain my cats, but was a total let down. It arrived, I opened the sealed package and removed it from the bubble wrap. Attempted to plug it in to charge but there is NOTHING in the charge port slot... the supplied cord as well as several other of mine of the same kind all flop around in the slot. There is nothing to make connection to allow power to flow and charge whatever "18650" battery in there.I assumed since it's sooo light it was shipped without a battery by accident, but then it lit up when I pushed the button.Speaking of 18650 batteries... I have several flashlights that use them and my husband has more. I'm pretty familiar with them, including the weigh and feel in the hand. This entire laser pointer dodad feels lighter to my than just the battery if another of my flashlights. There was a sort of half circle clip thing on the light barrel, I think it was to keep the button from being pushed in shipping. Near that but not under it is a large area where the black was scuffed off the light down to the aluminum beneath it. Yes I had to tear open the little sealed baggie it was sent to me in but Im wondering if thus was used and returned? Or just poor quality control?I'll update this review if things get sorted out. Im going to as for a replacement to be sent. But until then, hey this is what was sent to me, I get mistakes are made sometimes. And so here is one saying yup I had trouble, maybe Ill be able to update saying they fixed it but still there is a record it happened in case its a trend.

Way Too Bright!
I bought this to play with cats, maybe the neighborhood raccoons, and to be able to point at which branches I wanted the tree guys to trim. But this thing is just ridiculous. This laser is too strong. I can point at trees blocks away, at airplanes passing by, and when i point it at the moon the laser makes it the whole way. This thing should be military use only. Its too powerful for the average person. You have been warned!!
