Perfect balance of sweet and salty with strong licorice flavor. My favorite candy! Update 2/19/24. These pastilles are supposed to be hard. Better to suck on them because you may risk tooth damage if chewed. I consume 1 bag every 3-4 weeks and that rate is not a blood pressure concern. Recent medical studies indicate that 2 chemicals in licorice appear to decrease the processes that cause Alzheimer’s and dementia and can aid in recovery of traumatic brain injury. These satisfy my licorice cravings. Great product!
