This tile paint exceeded all my expectations! It was easy to apply, provided excellent coverage, and completely transformed the look of my old tiles. The finish is smooth, even, and looks like a professional renovation. It dried quickly, had very little odor, and the color turned out exactly as expected. After curing, the surface feels durable and easy to clean, making it perfect for kitchens and bathrooms. This product gave my space a fresh, modern look without the cost of replacing the tiles. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and high-quality makeover.

Just about as good of a kit as one could ask for. Covers all of the bases and instructions are clear. Very low odor and the color matches perfectly. My tub looks new again

Worked well though not shiny. Also there is no paint brush in the box like the picture shows only a roller. The odor is strong.

DWIL tub and tile refinishing kit is awesome! It covered some unwanted green tiles perfectly. Could not believe the wonderful result.

Our sink desperately needs to be reglazed, but we decided to try this. My husband taped everything off after cleaning and drying the sink, and trimmed everything with a razor. He also used a degreaser on it. Once everything was taped off he sanded, and cleaned everything with isopropyl alcohol. We applied 5 coats over about 9 hours. Then let it sit untouched for 18 hours. It looks decent, can see some slight imperfections from painting like a few brush lines here and there. Used a razor again to gently cut along the seams of the tape to separate the paint. The tape pulled without any catching or peeling. First time gently setting a sauce pot in to wash, it chipped through all 5 layers. It looks good when done. But would work best on a laundry room wash sink, or something that doesn’t get a lot of use. 3 stars because painting was easy, no fumes from the paint.

A year later, still looks like a new tub. Cleans easily. No cracking, no peeling, no chipping or staining. Buy DWIL instead of a new tub. The ceramic on the 40 year old tub was chipped in two places and left rusty spots. Those are sealed and you can't tell where they were. We like the slight anti slip texture much better than the original slick finish.

This is way better than I expected. Just one coat made such a difference and covered the stains on my laundry sink. The next morning did another coat . I put the brush and roller in a plastic bag so it wouldn’t dry out . I was able to do another coat and I plan on doing another one. The odor isn’t bad. It smelled like acrylics in a nail salon ,could not smell it in the rest of the house. I’m so happy I bought this instead of buying a new sink.

I ordered the complete kit to paint my 90’s fabulous almond acrylic shower pan semi-gloss white. I am very experienced with all types handyman projects, especially painting, and given the reviews I thought that this product should be easy breezy and yield good results. THE RESULT WAS POOR and took 4 coats to get something passable vs. the 2 advertised. I would NOT recommend this product due to its poor quality and ineffectiveness. With many thousands of square feet of painting experience, let me start by saying that the key to painting is prep. I did immaculate prep work for this project to ensure maximum adherence - the surface was clean as a whistle and scuffed with 240 grit sandpaper as per instructions. (Their provided 330 grit paper was terrible and just left gray dust everywhere). Given the small surface area I was working with I knew I would not need to use the entire container from the start so I planned to make up half of it. The paint is a 2 part product with the liquid “hardener” additive coming in a paper pouch vs. the plastic container you see in all the YouTube videos showing how to use the product. This makes it very difficult to measure precisely if you wish to split it in anyway - not to mention avoid spilling the stuff when tearing the paper pouch open. I tried my best using syringes and dosers I had to admin medications to a pet, but this was not ideal and hardly precise. The next issue is that I started by using the provided roller - DON’T - the coverage is terrible if there is even the slightest bit of texture (ie. The typical anti- slip floor surface). I used the provided brush instead which seemed to be doing the job. But after the second coat the paint was so uneven, puddled and had drips which required me to do a pretty thorough sanding. Again, their provided sandpaper was terrible leaving so much gray dust everywhere. Not in the directions but you should sand between coats otherwise anything uneven becomes more so. I used a high quality paint brush for the 3rd coat and had better results - but the brush marks were still very pronounced in many parts. I smoothed these and did a 4th coat as needed but the final result looks nothing like a smooth original finish - it looks like it’s been painted. And that is not the goal for this type of product. Overall, this was a disappointing product - the included materials were terrible quality and the product itself failed in its mission. I’m giving it 2 stars only because based on my sanding experience it seems like it will hold up and even though it looks like a DIY paint job, it still looks better than a dirty looking almond pan. See attached photos: first three show results after 4 coats. Note the uneven spots and obvious brush marks. The fourth shows how extensive sanding was required after the advertised two coat coverage.

Very good but need more than a one tub.

You need at least 4 coats for it to not come out streaky. Which is impossible to do with the size of the paint jug. I was willing to do the extra coats but not willing to pay another $80 when not even confident it will come out looking ok. Was better of the way it was. Wasted $80 and 3 hrs and now am left with a disaster. DO NOT BUY

I had high hopes for this refinishing kit and appreciated. It comes with the tools needed to get started. The waterbase formula was easy to work with on the application process was fairly straightforward as long as the surface was properly cleaned and prepare, which I did. Initially the finish looked great. The coverage was good, and it gives the tile a fresh upgrade appearance instantly. Unfortunately, my experience with a long-term durability was not as positive after a month. After allowing a product to cure and using the surface normally I began noticing small areas where the finish started to flake and chip. It has now been about a month and some succession have not held up as well as expected. I followed the instruction as was provided carefully, so I was disappointed to see coating begin to fail. However, I am not sure if it’s something that I’ve done incorrectly but again I must insist that when I first use this product, everything was flawless and looks fantastic. So with that said this is just my experience with the product after a month. I can’t see whether additional curing time would have improved the results, but based on my experience, the durability did not meet the expectation for a refinishing product intended for bathrooms and high use areas. The kit is easy to apply and provides an attractive finish initially, but I experienced issue with flaking and chipping that affect my overall satisfaction for that reason, I’m giving it a four stars.
