Setting up was easy. Pair it to the receiver and choose your alert sound and then fit your sensors.However, it's not a 'smart' unit and will alert whenever the sensor activates - whether that's for an intruder or for a fox or next door's cat!I'd been running to the front of the house when I hear the alert sound only to find no-one there and discovered it was a bit of rubbish blowing in the wind and it had just happened to go past the sensor so it can't distinguish between a person or anything else.The range of the sensor's beam is only about 2 to 3 metres but it is quite wide (I think the manual says about 35 degrees) but the fitting is not great. The sensor connects to the wall bracket by a ball joint which means you can twist and turn it to suit you but it also means it's not rock solid.I've tightened it to as much as I dare (bearing in mind it's plastic) but if something falls on top of it or, as happened to me, the neighbour's cat jumps onto the sensor it will push the sensor down slightly.And, just to confirm, there's no integration with Alexa or other smart device.However, despite all that I really do like this - it gives me a bit of reassurance and I now wait until the sensor 'continuously' activates before I investigate!

Fitted and working as advertised, I find the volume adjustment to be perfect for my needs. Receiving a signal in any room I try, so great if you want to get alerted in the room you are in, batteries seem to last, although I suppose it depends on how many times it gets activated in the location you have them fitted, if you are using it outside, birds, cats would probably set it off more often, most importantly it works.

Needed the driveway monitored and this seemed like a reasonable solution. Works well most of the time.

I my goodness it’s loud I had trouble getting it to work, but bring in a child and hey ho 10 minutes later , I am taking my hearing aid out

Very good and good sensitivity and range is 40 ft and works perfectly

these instructions do not colarate to the units that i have,it states in instructions that it has 3 buttons, mine only have two with no discription as to what they do, if mine is a up grade or the instructions refer to a later model then it would be nice if the manafactures suppied the correct instructions, needless to say i now have to waste time trying to figure this out
