The videos made it look easy to use but when I’m rushing trying to get my hair curled, this isn’t something that will help me get my curls. I personally didn’t like this because it took more time trying to figure out how this works and afraid that it would burn my hair. Also, i can only have a small strand of hair in at once which makes it super time consuming

Because this iron doesn’t heat up to about 400° it still curls very well it took some time for me to figure out how to get the hair inside of the roller but once I did it was easy to get some curls going. Recommend this for anyone, trying to achieve curls on a low heating system.

First, the pros of this automatic curler. It's a lovely deep teal color, and it feels well made. My hair normally doesn't hold a curl well, but with this my curls lasted all day without any additional products. I used it on the lowest setting. I didn't burn my fingers using it, and I liked that I didn't have to use a glove on one hand to handle it.Now the cons. There weren't enough instructions given, so I had to come back to the product page to watch the videos to see how to use it. My hair got tangled in it four times, which sent me into a panic each time. I unplugged the curler but was scared my hair would get scorched off. I had to forcefully yank my hair out. The first time it got tangled I tried pushing the opposite button to unwind it, but that seemed to make it even worse. It also would sometimes keep spinning after I took my finger off the button, which seemed to increase the chances of my hair getting tangled.Some tips if you decide to get this: Make sure your hair is brushed and smooth before using it. Only do a small section at a time - using more hair seemed to make it get tangled more. When you section off the hair to curl it, brush that bit again or run your fingers through it from the roots to make sure it's smooth and all together in its own little clump. Press the button on the curler until the iron itself is exposed and the black hooks at the top are positioned on the sides and out of the way. Take that little section of hair and lay it across the opening of the curler so one of the black hooks at the top will catch all of it at once when the curler turns. I personally preferred using the curler without its outer section on, so I could see what was happening and when to take my finger off the button. Only curl the bottom part of your hair until you are comfortable using the curler. It would be hard to untangle it if it was stuck up near your roots. When you are done curling, pull your hair straight up out of the curler. Ideally, your hair will slip right out.I think this would be easier to use if my hair was shorter, so it wouldn't have to wrap around the curler as many times. I am unsure about using a styling product before curling to make the curls last longer. If your hair is stiff, I'd be worried that it'd be harder to get out of the curler if it gets tangled.Overall, I think this curler does a good job curling hair. I was happy with the results and how long they lasted. I am nervous about continuing to use it due to the tangling. I would say that it is much easier to get consistent results with this than with a regular curling iron. I am going to attach a picture of what my hair looked like at the end of the day, when my hair had relaxed into soft waves.

Great concept, but product consistently tangles my hair up. Ita not worth risking further attempts.
