This game is loads of fun. Good for all ages and up to 8 people can play with one set. Even my older grandchildren who don't care for card or board games love this game. Almost everyone who has played it with us has purchased there own board. Easy to learn and you can play as singles or teams. We have even put two games together to add more players. You just need to mark your marbles or purchase other colors. One of my friends has a board with different colors. Worth the value spent as we get so much use and fun out of it. Arrived on time. Easily portable and comes with bags to store game pieces in. Built very sturdy. Good for all ages from 6 up. Does contain marbles so not good for young children.

Similarities to the game "Sorry"My sister had a handmade set of the marble tracks that were made by a 94 year old church friend. She got all of us sisters started on playing it on our annual trip. (What matching marbles she didn't have, peanut M&Ms worked!!).I found patterns for the board tracks and sent it to my son to see if he had the tools to make me a set. My sister called it "Cards and Marbles". Then I was browsing Amazon and there it was!I ordered it (since my sister lives 1500 miles away). I've taught friends (btw, friends and I are in 70's and 80's). We are addicted.Every game night with friends and family will include several games of Jokers and Marbles.You can't beat the price for SOLID wood boards painted --with marbles to match. The storage box is very sturdy (it traveled on a road trip with us). It includes well made canvas draw string bags for the boards and the marbles.I'm happy to see the game manufacturer now sells extra marbles. Considering how often we play this game, we're lucky we haven't lost any. It's best to put your game board tracks together then spill the marbles into the center to contain them-- or use a plastic dish.The set also includes 4 decks of cards. They are slightly smaller than normal cards but perfect for this game. They are very slick tho and slide around. When you're done playing Jokers and Marbles, you can use the cards to play Swoop! Another fun card game.There are several variations of the rules and we do not use the rules with the game. My sister's rules include using the 9 to either move one marble forward 9 spaces or use two marbles to move one forward and one back.All in all-- it's a great game. Well made and very sturdy. It will last for years-- and soon your grandchildren will be playing it.Easy to learn. We just taught my sister's 10 year old granddaughter. She quickly caught on and delighted in landing on my space to send me home.I would definitely buy this again as gifts.

Nice game board, but had to add Velcro between wood boards to keep together while playing. Otherwise, completely satisfied.

This game has changed my social life. This game IS my social life. But keep in mind, this is JUST my opinion. Others may say. " Yuck, boring, stupid game!" Usually the losers!! A littlebackground.............I have had a 50 year friendship with 5 other women. We met at bowling, started a card club, and have been together ever since. Our card game of choice was Sheepshead (Wisconsinites). Many years ago, one of the women introduced us to Marbles. Bye-bye Sheepshead!! It's addictive, challenging and fast paced. Several decks of cards are used. Strategy is very important. If there is an even number of participants, it can then be played with partners. No 2 games are EVER the same so it's NEVER boring. Usually the win is determined in the last few minutes....but that could change in seconds by a strategic move. And that's when the yelling and cursing begins! I'm thankful 🙏 none of my children have 2 heads!! I can't seem to pin down the origins of the game, and strangely, each manufacturer has slightly different rules. We all have games from different sources and rotate houses so the hostess calls the rules. Again, yelling and cursing! For a little added excitement, we each throw a buck in the pot. Winner takes all, partners split. The design of the game is determined by the manufacturer. Some are better than others regarding thickness of the board and the colors used (or no color in some cases). Read the reviews to determine what will work for you. But bottom line, it beats any game I've ever played in my 76 years. I think it keeps my mind sharp.....what was that? My friend says it doesn't!

Product is a good bright variance of colors. Solid, thick wood. Easy adjustments for 2, 4, 6 or 8 players. Only slight complaint would be I'd rather have pegs than marbles. Anyone suffering from arthritis in their fingers will have difficulty with the marbles. But otherwise great product for the price.

I bought this game because we. Love to play it. However the pieces do not stay together (other brands I played they do stay together). We had every piece out while playing and we had to tape the wooden color board together.
