This handle was easy to fit and was good quality. However, there is something to be aware of if you're considering this handle - the spindle is short and can't be changed. I've fitted a couple of these handles in the past and not had to worry about the spindle length, becuase I could use the old spindle with the new handle. However, this handle comes with the spindle firmly attached and it can't be removed without damaging the handle. This is a good thing, but it means that you need to double check the spindle length before ordering. As it happens, I fitted the handle using the short spindle that came with it and it was easy to fit - it's just that turning it doesn't unlock the window because the spindle's too short! In my case this was academic as it was for a skylight window in the bathroom that we never use, so I was only interested in the aesthetic, not the functionality. It looks good when fitted.

...not a bad handle for the price. Was better than expected. However, it has lost stars based on the fact that it is a bit stiff and the key that is used to lock the window feels very cheap and weak. Wouldn't trust it too much.I won't be locking the window that often, but if you did want to lock it and remove the key, I am not sure it would last that long.

Worked perfectly - Fit well, REALLY fast to change over. I do agree with people about the lock - it does feel a little flimsy BUT I also agree with some other reviews that this new handle actually improved how my window works locks much easier and looks great. Will definitely buy again if I need this type of handle.

These are great !!! Some of my window handles were coming apart and I thought I would have get a window company out to replace them and get a big bill ! But I ordered these and am so pleased as they look great and are very easy to fit (even a girl can do it ;-) ) I will be buying more :-) and the delivery was very quick thank you !

My 10yr old handles were temperamental so decided to look around for direct replacements and came across these. They couldn't have been easier to fit and I can open the windows like they were brand new!
