These ice packs have proven to be a game-changer for keeping my cooler contents chilled and eliminating the hassle of leaky ‘blue ice’ blocks.The quality of these ice packs is top-notch. Technically speaking, I'm not convinced these packs would be capable of keeping things chilled for a full 48 hours. BUT they do say 24-48 hours, so I'm not deducting a star for that reason. I recently purchased these and used 2 in combination in an icemule jaunt to take refrigerated medication on a long flight followed by a drive before we'd reach refrigeration again. All told, I needed something could 1) stay frozen through TSA, and 2) keep my meds cool for 18 hours+. This system worked perfectly! All of my meds remained perfectly cold. The packs were slushy after 18 hours (including 90 degree temps for a few of those hours, BTW), but still plenty cold.Throughout our trip, we'd just pop the packs in the freezer of whatever rental we were in to have them ready for the next day. They worked reliably, including during long road trips in 90 degree weather. We only had one hiccup along the way when a hotel's minibar fridge/freezer apparently wasn't cold enough to refreeze them. Luckily, their kitchen agreed to pop them in their freezer while we were out sightseeing for a bit. We were back 3 hours later and had partially frozen packs--they do freeze pretty quickly. Our return flight was delayed, we missed our shuttle, etc, yet we still returned home with cold med in hand.Though I never had an issue with my meds freezing while next to the packs, others have mentioned it could happen. Twice when on longer road trips from one location to the next, our ground beef actually froze when between the packs! So, do take care if this is a concern.We've had to travel with refrigerated meds in the past, and these packs in combo with the icemule were by far the best system and most reliable. Won't hesitate to use them again!

When I ordered these with the "some assembly required", I was prepared to be really irritated that I had to do the work to save them the money. But what I found was, it was actually fun putting it together and I was afraid of potential leaks, but out of the 5 I ordered (lunch size), all have had no issues whatsoever, which is surprising as I am not the IKEA assembly guy at all. I expected it would fail and it didn't.... not one drop spilled.The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 (should really be 4.3 ish) is their claims of 8 hours of "as cold as ice". That may be the case if you are using them at room temp, but I bought them to keep beers cold for a 4-5 hour golf round in 95 degrees and for that, it worked, but was dying after 4 hours and the beer was maybe 40 degrees... I prefer 34-36 degrees. Yes I am a beer prima donna. Skeptical on the 8 hour claim, and that is why I did not give 5 stars. But for what I needed, it worked great!!! Maybe the larger versions were the 8 hour ones. Meh.But these things coming out of a very cold freezer will burn your hands, be very careful! They are so flipping cold! Protect your hands if using a very cold freezer or you may get frostbite. If you doubt the colder than ice claim, put it in a deep freezer and lose a few fingers if you are not careful taking it out...Overall, no issues at all with the lunch size pack of 5. Durable, convenient, and definitely way better than ice, and other non-ice solutions we have used. And for me and my wife the money was well spent for sure.For 5 stars, and this is not just for this product, promise less and deliver a bit more. But this is pretty awesome compared to a lot of other products we have tried. We are considering the larger versions, based on the performance of the smaller items and may update this review based on that. May yet get 5 stars, we will see.8.8/10 Have recommended to friends and family. Place this in the best triple walled cooler and you may have a cold beer next week... or at least a 40 degree beer....

These are hands down the best ice packs and I've tried out about 30 types. I use these every day for migraines. They last for several days in a well made cooler like yeti or igloo. They last maybe 2 days with a couple of them in fabric coolers in the open they last several hours. I shaped them more into a roll shape to use behind my neck. I actually got frostbite last summer from one of them they are that cold. Of the 5 of them I bought several years ago, only one has finally leaked and that's years of everyday use

These are some very efficient cooler packs! They're easy to set up (just follow the instructions closely and fill with water properly) and they freeze in a slim rectangular profile. They're not too heavy and they're perfect for my small soft-sided cooler. Two of them is enough to keep all of my drinks and snacks cold while they wait in the car when I go hiking.

I absolutely love these freezer packs. They are easy to use and versatile, and they are so cold if you're not careful, they will freeze items in your cooler solid.I am sad to report their lifespan is very limited. I purchased these in 2023, and used them for three summer/fall camping seasons. We are heavy campers, frequently going on trips twice a month. I was sad to find these were all oozing when I pulled them out to prep for this year's first trip. The corners appear to be very weak and prone to cracking open.That being said, they are still much less than the cost of three summers worth of ice. If you don't mind that you'll have to replace them, they're a good buy. I just wish they were more durable. I'm going to try the companies hardshell freezer pack option next time.

水を適量計って入れる作業が要るが特に困る事は無い。ただ大きさをわかっていたつもりが想像より大きく分厚さもあるため手持ちのクーラーボックスではそのままでは使えずに凍らす時に折り曲げている。Mを４つ買ったがMは一つでSを複数の方が良かったかもしれない。まだ２つしか使っていないので残りは予冷用に使う事も考えたが家庭用冷凍庫の場所にも限りがあるのでキャンプ前に容量に余裕のある時限定かも。勿体無いが友人に使ってもらう事も考えよう。用途は一泊のキャンプなので翌朝の食材も冷えたまま保存できて問題なし。２５Ｌくらいのボックスなら一つを曲げて入れるくらいかな二つだと容量がかなり減ります。ソロでＭ４つは多すぎです。

It works exceptionally, I am really happy for my purchase. I tried to find the best cost/effectiveness and this was the result, it made me discover that the lunch bags we have has bad insulation. They are exceptionally cold for a minimum of 12 hours (in bad insulation) so I'm excited to use these in coolers for summer camping. Thank you so much for making a great product that's also fun to make! No regrets for this purchase.

An und für sich eine gute Kühlleistung, allerdings ist einer der 4 Beutel ohne Gewalteinwirkung in der ersten Woche der Verwendung direkt unterhalb des Drehknaufs gerissen und damit unbrauchbar. Bei dem Preis meiner Meinung nach nicht akzeptabel. Mein Fazit daher: Grundsätzlich gut, aber scheinbar sehr fragil, womit es für den Einsatz in der Kühlbox in Anbetracht des Preises zu Riskant ist. Würde ich mit diesem Wissen nicht wieder kaufen.
