I’ve gotten these a few times, since I saw them recommended on a succulent forum. They work great in my plant cabinet, and my succulents have been much happier with these. I put mine inside my cabinet with some velcro adhesive strips instead. I also use mine with an outlet timer and keep them running pretty much all day with no problem. They do get a little bit warm, but not hot.Make sure to slowly acclimate your plants to the lights so they don’t burn. They’re very effective

Going by the other reviews, I was expecting these to be a lot better than they are. Keep in mind that plants all need different levels of light, depending on where they originally grow in nature, and some need a lot more light than others. Also keep in mind that light scatters over distance. These lights get semi decent readings...if you hover them 3-ish inches above your plants. If they're going to be hanging 12 inches (or more) above your plants, you're probably only going to have enough light for something like a pothos.I mean, maybe everyone else uses a different light meter than I do, and they're able to get results that I'm not seeing with my own light meter, but I was really disappointed by how dim these are. I wanted to set them up underneath a shelf that would put them a little over 12 inches from my shortest plants, and at that point those plants would be etiolated from lack of sufficient light. (Please note: these do LOOK bright. They're just not putting out enough useful light for my needs.)In addition, the cord is way too short to reach any outlet unless I'm putting them at ground level or using an extension cord, neither of which I want to do. I'm just all around pretty disappointed with these, but at this price point, I guess I shouldn't have been surprised. I was originally going to return them, but since I'm only going to need them during the winter, I'll just have to rig up something ugly to get my plants through to spring.

The item is as expected and fits my plant setup better since I have black shelves. My one complaint is that the connectors and plug in-wire are so short, I'm going to need an extension. Problem is that the extensions are all white. So... that's a shame. I really want black lights and *black* extender wires.

The media could not be loaded. I have the 27-inch IKEA Akerbar greenhouse and needed a grow light for it. I settled on two of these 1ft grow lights because they could be linked using one of the small connectors that come with the lights (the lights came with everything you see shown in the photos in the product listing). This worked out really well with the timer plug I have to set the lights on a 12h on/off daily cycle. The lights don't feel flimsy at all, and so far they're working well inside the greenhouse that has gotten up to 78% humidity. I'm thinking of getting more of these lights as my plant collection grows. Everything you can see briefly in the video I've attached to my review was grown/ is still growing—starting from seed— inside my greenhouse using these grow lights. I highly recommend.

I have a few carnivorous plants and another smaller bushy plant in a cubby. This light is perfect.

So far the light works great, but the box was missing the mentioned 2 installation clips, screws, and small connector. Amazon is currently sending me on a looping robo labyrinth, and I have attempted to contact seller. Will updated review with outcome.
