Don't buy. Sent 8 identical items four of which won't form corner
I have e-mailed the seller and it's been 8 days and no response. All 8 corners the same. It is impossible to have a tailgate that is detachable with these! One side is o.k. the tailgate can lift up. on the left side the bracket is "under" the other bracket and the only way to lift off the tailgate would be to unhook the side panel then lift the tailgate off. Did I not get the left and right brackets. I think I only received the right bracket. Please let me know. As far at the first picture in the description I only received 8 of the one item. There is no way to make up the bracket that is pictured.

Very heavy duty
These brackets worked well for my application. They are quite heavy duty and have a nice zinc chromate finish. My application didn't require me to screw into the end grain of a 2x4 so that was not an issue. I suppose it could be for some applications.

Not hard to install and after adjustment are perfect.
I did have to redrill the holes to use 3/8 hardware but that was expected. After they were mounted a small amount of persuasion with a large screwdriver opened them slightly and made them very easy to remove and install .

Great brackets
These brackets were easy to install and help a lot on my small trailer. The side and end boards use to lean out and bounce around while I was moving. Now, they are securely held in place and make no noise.

Very useful and sturdy bracket
Very good brackets for making quickly removable walls on an equipment trailer. I've got them installed on an 18' tilt bed equipment trailer and they stay in place when driving or when tilted to load the tractor.

Hardware works as it should
Used this for a trailer and when I received to package it was missing a part I used it anyway because I need to have the trailer working but was only able to use two of the brackets

These are certinally heavy duty. I gave it 4of5 stars because when they mesh together the bends interfer and results in a less than 90 degree angle. I had to clean up the edges along the inside bend using a grinding wheel. This took about 20-30. Once this modification was completed the parts meshed correctly.Providing you're willing to do some cleanup then these are seriouslly heavy duty.

Great solid product
Very happy with the product. Came exactly as described, actually it was sturdier than I had expected. World great for the utility trailer that I restored.
