Unfortunately they don’t last long. The rope stretches, gets damp and moldy and have to be replaced almost every year. I saw these, read the review and decided to give them a try. We are so happy with them!!! The leaves just slide right off them, there is no mold, they rain slides right off, the mice and squirrels don’t chew them, they are wonderful!!! My Son in law visited recently, he has had the same problem with the rope hammocks, so he has now replaced his with these also. We have actually used them more than we have the old rope ones too because we don’t have to wait for them to dry after a rain. They come with a nice nylon storage bag and I like that the crossbar is in two pieces. It makes storage much simpler.
