9 1/2 M was a perfect fit for me. The shoe does appear to be 100% leather uppers. The sole is rubber. The Insole is a comfort spongy material, I am satisfied with the comfort of it, but I would like a little more padding under the ball of the foot area. Every shoe manufacturer I have seen has very little to no ball area padding. Color is brown and it meets my expectations. Overall the quality is superb. I own several Florsheim shoes and I am happy with this version. This design is versatile for Sunday Church or just going out on a date, Very Nice and clean looking. Easy to put a super shine on the toe cap. Happy

This is my third pair of Florsheim shoes. This style in particular is made as an inexpensive option for exclusive sale at places like Amazon. I needed a new pair of black dress shoes and decided I would give them a shot. I was very impressed. Despite the lower price point, these shoes performed well right out of the box. In addition to looking sharp, they went an entire Easter Sunday (starting at 7:30a, visiting two churches, lots of walking, and finally coming off at dinner around 6:00p) with a great fit and excellent comfort.

These are the best dress shoes I've ever owned. They're very comfortable and look nice as well as classy. Believe it when it is noted that these are comfortable and breathable. This brand will be my dress shoe brand going forward as they're also affordable & well priced.

i have wide feet and it fits perfectly, looks great and super comfortable. had to walk about 10,000 steps a day including a lot of subway stairs last week and these were almost as comfortable as my new balance 990s. love love love it. first dress shoe where my feet don't hurt after a long day.

I bought these for a teen to wear with a suit. The look of these shoes was very nice. The insole was not quite as cushy as Cole Haan’s Morris style, but I suspect few shoes’ insoles are. However, it is nice cushioning for a dress shoe. (I put my feet in these shoes and others to test them myself, because getting accurate feedback on comfort, cushioning, and fit is nearly impossible. I know what wearing uncomfortable dress shoes is like, and it’s miserable. Better shoes are worth it, and your older self will thank you for not destroying your feet.) And it’s worth noting in this comparison that Cole Haan shoes in general apparently run rather narrow, but they are a perfect fit for my teen in 9.5W. Had previously tried a Florsheim style in a brick-and-mortar store, and they appeared to be a bit narrow or tight on the top of the foot, so thought maybe wide (9.5W) would work. However, this 9.5EEE (which I believe is equivalent to 9.5WW) we received was long in the toe box, and very much too wide and loose across the instep. Not sure if the toe was supposed to have that much space due to the style, or if we needed to size down a half or whole size. This style might have fit fine in size 9.5M. Nevertheless, we had to return them due to fit, unfortunately.

Very comfortable shoe. I like them so much that this is my fourth pair.

These are the most comfortable shoes right out of the box. I didn’t have time to break them in before a trip to New York City. Walked a lot… no sore feet. 10 out of 10

Snug fit on width, after breaking in shoe loosens up and feels like you're wearing soft slippers but comfortable like an asics gel nimbus running shoe. I'm around 250 lbs and with daily wear that feeling lasts six months to a year then I replace the shoe insert with a Dr Scholls work or comfort insert once or twice out to two years. Replaced previous shoe after four years because heel wore out completely on my outside edges and had appearance scratches like normal. Very happy with this shoe. Will continue to purchase as long as they are available.

Just well made shoes. Super comfortable and they last a long time. This pair is replacing a 28 year old pair that were destroyed in a flood. Can’t say enough good things about them.
