Engineered to meet OSHA silica dust regulations, it features a water-feed system and HEPA vacuum dust cover to minimize airborne particles. Enhanced with a new clamping system for stability, scratch-protecting felt strips, and a memory kink-free water hose with quick-disconnect, the ESC-125 offers superior cutting performance and jobsite safety in a compact, portable design. ## Description Alpha has redesigned the popular AWS-125 wet stone cutter, which had changed the way we cut sink holes using a manual cutting application. The ESC-125 was created based on feedback from manufacturers in preparation for the new silica rule change by OSHA in 2017. The AWS-125 will be discontinued as soon as current supplies are depleted and future orders will be replaced by the ESC-125. OSHA is now enforcing the regulation to reduce airborne silica particles by cutting with water, to keep dust on the ground, or cutting with a dust suction system with a HEPA vacuum attached. To remove dry dust via vacuum cleaner, we added a dust cover to the side of the blade guard to redirect dust from the cutting edge to an attached vacuum cleaner. For example, when connected to a HEPA vacuum, the ESC-125 can be used dry on the jobsite to trim the edges of countertops without creating a lot of dust. The ESC-125 is equipped with a newly designed aluminum manifold system that provides sufficient water jet to cool the cutting edge as well as eliminates suspension of the cutting line in front of the stone cutter. Since water is shot from the back of the stone cutter toward the cutting edge, abundant water is provided for any size and type of blade applicable for the ESC-125. Along with the aluminum manifold system, Alpha upgraded the water hose to a memory and kink-free hybrid water hose that comes with a quick-disconnect garden hose adapter. The new water feed system offers ample volume without interruptions and allows easy disconnection of the garden hose when necessary. The included EasyOn-EasyOff case includes the power cord and water hose to minimize drag while cutting a long distance on the table. It is easy to open one end of the sleeve and then wrap the power cord and water hose little by little at the other end. Alpha also changed the way the cutting depth is adjusted by moving the height adjustment arm to the side of the blade guard. ## Features - Powerful Motor For Use On Granite, Quartz Surfaces, Marble, Limestone, Concrete and Sintered Slabs - Water-Feed Supply Eliminates The Harmful Dust Particles - Base Plate Allows Guides To Be Used in Multiple Ways - Dust Cover for HEPA Vacuum Connection - New Clamping System Ensures Cutting Stability - Included Self-Stick Felt Strips Protects The Work Surface From Scratches ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0C5J8JBGF | | Best Sellers Rank | #732,013 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #2,337 in Tool Sets (Tools & Home Improvement) | | Blade Material | Steel with Diamond Particles | | Blade Shape | Rectangular | | Brand Name | SMARTCUT | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars (5) | | Handle Material | Plastic | | Included Components | Case, Water Hose | | Manufacturer | Alpha Tools | | Model Number | ESC-125 | | Number of Teeth | 100 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Water-Feed Dust Elimination, HEPA Vacuum Connection, Cutting Stability Clamping, Scratch-Proof Work Surface | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Specification Met | OSHA | | Surface Recommendation | Stone | | UPC | 749173621406 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Type | limited warranty | ## Product Details - **Blade Material:** Steel with Diamond Particles - **Brand:** SMARTCUT - **Color:** Black - **Power Source:** Corded Electric - **Surface Recommendation:** Stone ## Images ![ESC-125 Wet/Dry Stone Cutter 110 Volt - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51WI-OpBg9L.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - ESC-125 Wet/Dry Stone Cutter 110 Volt - Casaverde Diamond Turbo Cutting Blade for Granite and Marble (5) - Makita 9564CV 4-1/2-Inch SJS™ High-Power Angle Grinder --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/540009928-esc-125-wet-dry-stone-cutter-110-volt](https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/540009928-esc-125-wet-dry-stone-cutter-110-volt) --- *Product available on Desertcart Cyprus* *Store origin: CY* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
