Serves its purpose but has its faults
A good mop but the head is perhaps a little too expensive. With care however it should last at least a year. My last mop head lasted a little longer than that but eventually the foam came away from the plastic plates that attach it to the mop itself. The head does have the annoying habit of coming off the mp on occasion but bizarrely it was almost impossible getting the old plates off the mop when replacing the head.On the whole a good product but the cost is a bit high.

A Bit Like The Curate’s Egg
The mop is something of a mixed bag, unfortunately. The mop head cleans extremely well and is highly absorbent so leaves the floor nicely dry.Fitting the mop head is quite another story, I’m afraid. I found it extremely fiddly trying to line up the 8 notches properly to secure the head to the handle and then found that if I mopped the floor a little too robustly, or allowed the head to become too dry, it was all too easy to knock it off again during use.Trying to refit a dirty, wet head to a wriggling mop-handle really didn’t put me in the best of humours. If the designers could come up with an easier way of attaching the head to the handle, I’d think it an excellent product. As it is, all things considered, I rate it as only so-so.

sponge mop
Can't get to the shops at the moment so happy to find this on Amazon. Not sure if the price is competitive but at £4.99 delivered I'm not complaining. Fitted to old mop handle without difficulty.

Ouch.
The mop is great, the heads don't fit properly. Watch an instruction video or you may break it. Head comes off quite regularly- it's east to reattach but can be a pain when you just dipped it in boiling hot water.

Ideal Replacement
Bought this as original mop head had fallen apart after a lot of use. Easy to fit and expect a long life from this as I had from the original.

Great after a small tweak
We like this mop head, it's soft but is abrasive enough to remove the muck. The problem we had was with the blue, the blue just kept leaking everywhere so we sprayed it with kitchen cleaner with bleach in it, sat it for half and hour then rinsed it out. it stopped leaking blue after that... also turned mostly white. After doing that too, it stopped becoming super stiff after using, so it allowed us to use it on small stains.

Rubber detaches from the plastic housing
Have purchased a few of these now but despite them being Addis branded items, and thus of expected higher quality, i find that the sponge quickly becomes detached from the plastic plate clipping it into the mop. I have tried various ways of storing the refill when on the mop: wet, dry, pointing upwards and downwards but nothing seems to prolong the life of these items. I find i am having to purchase new refills quite frequently, not because the rubber has worn away but because of this problem of the rubber quickly becoming detached from the plastic plate. Quite disappointing as they aren't a cheap item.

Needs to last longer than the original
Easy to use better than a mop I just hope this replacement head lasts longer than the original as the bonding of the mop to the plastic fixing frame was not up to the job
