UPDATE: Buying this was a bad mistake. Never, ever buy Karcher "professional" equipment online! (sorry, Amazon). Because when you need help (as in, you need an accessory or repair), you won't get it. Karcher services only its "home and garden" equipment centrally. All "pro" equipment is supposed to be sold and serviced by local dealers (normally small mom-and-pop shops). If you purchased online, there is no one to call. "Home and garden" helpline tells you that's not their business and forwards you to "pro" technical support. "Pro" technical support have no idea what to do and forwards you to the commercial warranty department. Commercial warranty department gives you a couple of local dealers, each of them 1.5 hours away, one has a phone number that cannot be dialed, the other saying they don't sell or service such small machines.This Karcher pressure washer is a marvel of German engineering, but it is incompatible with any accessories made by Karcher or anyone else, and it comes with barely any customer support. If you want just the bare pressure washer, this one is expensive but otherwise not a bad choice. If you think you may need some parts, accessories or attachments, choose something else.I paid seven hundred dollars for this pressure washer and wanted to complement it with a surface cleaner accessory. I looked at Karcher's web site and couldn't find anything compatible. Asked the customer support online and got the reply: "This would [be] considered [a] commercial product [so] please call 888-xxx-xxxx". Called that number and learned that Karcher does not provide customer support and that I need to call a local (50 miles) dealer. The dealer told me that they don't have anything for a pressure washer that small (their products start with 3gpm, this one is 1.7gpm) and suggested I special-order from them an accessory they think would fit, which would be un-returnable, but in case it doesn't fit, they would be happy to also sell me an adapter. Also, the dealer wouldn't accept payments on the phone, so I'd need to visit them twice, first for the payment, second to pick up the order. Came back to online customer service and escalated the case, which resulted in them recommending another accessory that is not sold anywhere (perhaps on eBay?) and is clearly incompatible (has a male thread where it should have female thread).At that point, I should have returned the machine to Amazon. I did not, and that was my second mistake (the first was to purchase it). Because guess what? In five months, the machine is broken, and here we go again. The 888 number, no support, calls to a local dealer, driving for 50 miles twice. Never ever do this to yourself.
