I was pleasantly surprised by taste profile when I first tried it. The scallops have a nice balance between salty, sweetness and smokiness. This is the perfect snack that I enjoy eating directly from the can. I will be ordering this on subscription. Highly recommended!

I've had scallops in the past, mostly fresh fried ones, and few smoked ones like this from a can. When I opened a can of these, they had a sort of fishy smell, and honestly didn't look all that appealing in the oil they're packed with. I ate one straight from the can, and was pleasantly surprised at the taste and texture! If you've ever had smoked oysters, this is very similar. They have a clean smoky flavor, but are quite a bit more tender and less chewy than smoked oysters. In fact I ate the whole can... lol Later I ate another can with crackers and mustard, they were even better! I'm saving some of them to add in the next seafood gumbo we make, where we traditionally use a can of smoked oysters. I think these will add the same flavor but with a better texture.

These taste SO GOOD with a little hot sauce. I would absolutely recommend.

Whoa, these are pretty nice!!Super tender yet still a great meat texture, perfect balance. Not chewy at all. And they're all spaced and lined up beautifully might I add!!Not super fishy either IMO but I am a tinned fish girly so I may be primed/biasedPerfectly salted, smoked - not too much and not too little. Less oil than I expected but that's not necessarily a bad thing- mostly juice/broth/brine juice which I used to make a paella dupe with quinoa.I also expected these red and tomato sauced for some reason but just FYI they're not

I usually don’t write reviews. But I felt compelled to do so here. This does not taste like scallops at all. Very strong sardine like taste will stay in your mouth long after.

GEISHA is a well-known brand in this segment. There are 12 cans that come in a cardboard box. The cans are easy to open. The product is easy to prepare. The flavor of the scallops is not as good as a fresh product, but is very tasty for canned. The price is more favorable than store purchases.

I was a bit afraid, but they are surprisingly good! It comes in a pull tab can. They are ready to eat out of can no need to even cook but I like to heat them up or add them to meals to spruce it up. Very tasty and texture is very soft. Do note the scallops are very small. Good protein and iron.

Poor quality scallops. Just my opinion. Not that great tasting. Look at actual photo. Not very appetizing. I Do Not Recommend
