High quality and fixed the drain fitting leak on my gas water heater. So I went to replace the small angled drain valve on the hot water heater with a new ball valve so I could do annual cleanout maintenance. Well what seemed like a quick swap turned into a multi-day ordeal. The new 3/4" ball valve didn't seem to thread in far enough and despite teflon tape and a giant pipe wrench and my super-human strength (yeah right) the new valve would not stop leaking. After draining the tank again I was able to sumise that the factory had done a lousy job of threading the tank fitting and misthreaded the original and my first replacement. After re-threading and further threading the second replacement valve didn't shed a drip - bone dry, finally!

Used these tapes to thread a hole I drilled into a car intake manifold to add a second water temperature sensor for some newly installed radiator fans. It worked great, no issues. Will be using them again soon on another project.

Great set for the price, apparently to be good quality, though I haven’t put each size through the ringer yet.

Exactly what I needed. I didn't have to tap new threads, but this worked great to chase some worn well adapter threads so I could install new fittings.

Needed 1/4" NPT tap for hydraulic cylinder that had a deformed seat. Recut threads perfectly and saved the job. Compact case keeps all taps organized. Very pleased with purchase. CR

And great price. Once in a while you need a pipe tap and they are hard to find locally. Even that Chinese tool store usually does not hove them in stock and even if they do, they are more than double the price for 3. This set has 5 taps. Go ahead, tools are cool.
