I was excited to get a hitch hammock but all the negative reviews are true… it is not made well. If you want a hammock stand put your money into the real version made by “adventure hammock” or a Kammok hammock stand. I have used this hammock stand for several months but yesterday at camp the locking pin sheared off sending me crashing to the ground. Now it’s unusable… do yourself a favor and invest in a better stand.

I’ve had this hitch mount for a while now. Overall, great product and well built. Went to use it today and one of the locking pins is missing. I assume it’s on the highway somewhere, so the stand is basically unusable.Does anyone know how/where to source a replacement pin?

This Hammock gives so much fun on the road and anywhere you go by car. Ideally it is mounted to your hitch on the car and you can just unfold it and enjoy a break, camping or just a nap.The quality feels good, it feels secure enough when you fold it down to keep it on the hitch. I did replace the pin with a better one which is also anti rattle and has a small lock.The quality of the hammock itself feels good, it is cotton as much as I can tell which feels really good and is washable.The entire setup is so innovative and I have not seen it anywhere yet. My wife takes it everywhere and just does relax in it and always gets questions about it ;-)Great product and worth it!

Not too comfortable and awkward to get in

Very poor quality welds and coating out of the box. But even worse, it broke and folded in half during the first use. I was very lucky to not get injured or hit my head on the metal hammock stand when this product collapsed. I am less than 200lbs and this product broke immediately. This product is very unsafe for you and your family.

Outstanding idea, poorly delivered. The frame is underbuilt for life on the road. The first unit arrived incomplete and damaged. The second lasted two uses before significant issues with latching in the stowed position. I would pay double for a rock-solid frame that is more than a one-weekend gizmo. Save your money.
