Excellent
I came across an online version of this part of the bible, and was quite intrigued by it, my wife was also very interested in it so I bought it for her, as a present, we had great enjoyment reading this as it take quite a lot of deciphering, and if you know anything about the Jamaican dialect you will find it very amusing, it really puts the fun back into reading the bible. I would recommended it to anyone who thinks they know Patois or Jamaican, or those who want to get an understanding of it.

Great, amazing!
Really fun to read and appreciate the language and how the word translates. Maybe niv, nkjv, esv along side would have been better than kjv, saying that I guess they chose what the intended audience are used to. Great gift for the patoise speaker or appreciator. And

Patois Bible gives me so much joy.
I have Bibles in many languages which enhances my appreciation and enjoyment of the Planet's most circulated book. The Jamaican New Testament is one of my favourites as I just love to hear Patois. (Audio version available on internet).Well done Bible Society of West Indies the quality of this book and its contents are superb.

Great Translation
This translation is everything I had thought it would be and more! Absolutely amazing! With the 'English' version alongside it, it made for fantastic reading!

My Biblical challenge.
I like it but, this needs a lot of focus especially if you do not fully understand Jamaican 'patois'. It is an absolute challenge for one's little grey cells, even if you speak the language but might have forgotten some of the words. The standard translation alongside the text does makes it easier to read. However, I found myself re-reading the same line more than once in order to make full sense of it.

A new addition
I have 6 other bibles and adding this one to my collection is great. I am not Jamaican but can read broken English (when I was younger I used to read the West Indian Times from beginning to end in broken English).A well presented and bold printed copy.

Truth About This Bible
This probably isn't a bible you will read every day - even if you can listen to patois or speak it - it is not much of a written language. I find myself reading it out loud to really understand. I grew up with a lot of Jamaican (first generation Canadian) friends - and the translation in my mind is as close as you can get. I wish they would have used the NIV instead of the old King James - the translation may have turned out a little less awkward at. I think this would suit anyone who enjoys the Bible and has ties of any kind to Jamaica! As a whole this Bible is really interesting and I encourage anyone wanting to learn patois, connect to their roots, or hear the Bible in a different way - to purchase this.

God wi bless!
I was so excited to hear there was a Bible in Patois. I figured anything to make you read the Bible more is worth having. At first I was like ok who talks like this. When I read it out lout I realized I understood it and could read fluently. The best part is that the English is on the left side. Love it!
