It broke the first day

I should have expected this to be horrible just from the price but I thought I would give it a try. I don't know how long this product has been hanging around in the warehouse, but even the packing tape that closed up the box has gone yellow. This voice changer has no microphone and no earbuds to be able to test this unit. I found an old pair of earbuds with the built in microphone and was able to test the voice changer. I was never able to get the sound to output to any device and I could only hear the voice changes in my ear buds. After choosing which voice modification you wish to use, you are supposed to be able to press the fine tuning button to alter your selection to give a wider range of voice changes. The fine tuning button seems to do nothing. The built in sound board is absolutely horrible and some of the sounds are even cut off in their recording. The manual is horribly written and gives pretty much no useful information. A very disappointing product.

This voice changer has very minimal instruction of how to set up with smartphone. Instruction states iphone 7,8, X/XR on the diagram. This voice changer is an old tech from years ago and probably not so popular back then. I set it up as diagram showing but I don’t know how to hear my voice changing to the option on the voice changer device. All I can hear is pre programmed noises which is like cheers, laughing, countdown, etc etc. There’s no instruction to what kind of program it needs to have an effect of voice changer. I tried taking video with it and then voice memo only to find no change in the voice. Am I missing something or it doesn’t work with devices other than iphone 7, 8, X/XR? No idea.
