So far it's been a good fan. Lots of movement.
It was cheaper than the DeWalt fan. The clip works pretty good so far. I like all the range of motion that the neck and the head have. Kind of weird having to hold the button in for 3 to 5 seconds to turn it off. But other than that the 2 times I've used- it's all good.

DeWALT should knock this off LOL!
Pretty Much the best fan light charger combo you’ll ever see in your life. My two amp hour battery can run the fan for 12+ hours on a low setting thing is awesome. Definitely would recommend picking one up for your battery packs.

Awesome little fan!
The media could not be loaded. I install ceilings and it’s 20-30 degrees hotter at a high ceiling….this fan clips right to my scaffold and rubs forever on 1 charge!

Nice small fan.
Very limited air stream. Good for close in cooling.

Does not work
Fan ran for 5 minutes and then stopped. Had a horrible electrical smell and would not turn on after that. Light would not work as well.

Cordless Fan
This cordless fan is very convenient to have. I always have this fully charged for emergency. It is light weight and very portable. It has minimum noise level and best brightness. Great value for money! I highly recommend!

You really only want this if you have dewalt batteries already
First of all, don't buy this if you don't have dewalt batteries laying around. Buying a super expensive battery just for this would be silly.I ordered this mostly because I needed a testbed to test my pile of dewalt batteries from vine. I figured that doing rundown tests with this would demonstrate the differences between all the off brand dewalt batteries out there. Well, I set it to max light and max fan and a 6ah battery has been blowing away for the last 11.5 hours. So, it just goes and goes.As far as the fan itself goes, it's loud and grinds quite a bit. The air is....ok. It's not that impressive, but it's not terrible. The light is reasonably bright. Honestly, the fan should have been made with better bearings. The whole thing vibrates quite a bit in my hand when I hold it. It's definitely too loud to use as a desk fan.

Pricey, odd ball
I think you are mostly paying for the Dewalt compatibility. The fan works okay, but is not really that strong. Of course, the more air it moves, the louder it would be. I'm not sure why one would want a light and a fan together, both pointing in the same direction. The control button defaults to fan control. If you want the light, you need to long press. You have to do that three times if you want the brightest setting, and yet again to turn it off. The fan is the same, starting on the lowest setting and cycling up until you hit the highest, only then followed by the off function. Perhaps that's why there is a remote. That's right-a remote for a hand-held device. It is a bit more user friendly, and adds the functionality of timed operation, something not accessible otherwise. You are on your own to find two AAA batteries in the dark since they are stingily not included.Though not particularly intuitive, I have to admit to the usefulness of this. Twice in the past week we have lost power on very hot days during the evening. I could use the fan, have some area light, and keep my phone charged for emergency use, all from a single device.Oddly functional, good for emergencies, over priced. Your call.

One of the best Dewalt accessories I own
What an awesome accessory for your Dewalt batteries. For what it does, it is a MUST buy.I had been looking at purchasing the official Dewalt battery powered fan for a while. But the main thing I really didn't like about it was the price. For around a hundred and fifty bucks (probably more expensive by now), I found that a hefty price for just a fan. Yes, I am sure it is of good quality and can withstand a decent amount of banging around a construction site, but I still haven't found it worth the money (even when it went on sale). Now this fan once I saw it, I couldn't believe the features it had. All inside a small package, and for the great price!Dewalt official battery powered fan-Works as a fan-Somewhat heavy dutyUnofficial fan-Works as a fan-Has a light-Can power up USB powered devices such as phones-Has a remote control!-Pretty compactWhile not the most powerful fan in the world, I think it still blows a good amount of air. I can't understand a couple of the reviews here were people complain it doesn't blow very hard. I found that even 10+ feet away, you can still feel a good amount of airflow. And second of all, it's a small compact fan with a 4" diameter fan. If you expect to feel hurricane style winds at 100ft away from it, you bought something that isn't made to do what you want. The fan has three speed settings. The fan can be turned on and switched modes with the button on the device, but it is even better when controlled through the remote. The remote lets you turn the fan on/off, through the three speeds and even lets you put it on a 1/2/4 hour timer! The light is also pretty decent for the size. It too has three levels and can be controlled from the device itself or from the remote. You have to do a long-press of the button to control the fan on the device. Lights up dark areas pretty well. The USB charger also works well and will help keep your phone/tablet/etc charged. Be advised that there is no fast charging on this device, which is to be expected at this price point. The device will work with any standard 20v or 60v flexvolt Dewalt batteries (the 60v flexvolt batteries automatically switch to 20v when working with 20v devices). The book has some estimated times that the light/fan will work on a battery, but it fails to state which size of battery. I have had it running non stop with both the fan and light on, on a 5ah battery, and after ~4 hours the battery was maybe down to half. The only real downside I can see to this really great device is that due to the way it is designed, and the plastic used, I wouldn't expect it to take a very hard fall before it breaks. But you can't expect it to be very heavy duty at this price point. I am sure it will survive being bumped around quite a bit, but don't expect it to take falling from 8+ feet onto concrete without it likely breaking in the hinge area or outer housing. But all and all a great buy and I can't wait to use more both while working and probably on the campsite. Really wish I had found this sooner. I am already considering buying a second one at the moment!

The media could not be loaded. This item is pricey for the quality but I suspect it will hold up well to good care.I love the remote! The fan and light both have great top end power.I recommend this product.
