2-1/8" x 1-1/8" Graver Sharpener Jewelry Making Tool

Very simple idea, not an heirloom quality tool, but it does exactly what's intended. An improved design could be slightly larger and incorporate swivel pads to allow easier clamping. Clamping directly against the end of the bolt can sometimes shift the part slightly. It would be nice if the bolts had a hex or slotted, etc., head.

This product made it easy to hold my gravers at specific angles for sharpening.

I recently purchased this product for sharpening graving tools I'm not a full-time engraver but I do utilize the gravy tips quite often as a jeweler. So far this graver sharpening holder has achieved details in finding precision in great degrees and has really surprises in sharpening my tools. The price is great! Though you do have to find your degree utilizing the screws and adjusting the graver bit but once you find it and lock it in and Mark it for next time it becomes a snitch.

I’m new to engraving; have viewed many videos.. yet I’m having trouble sharpening the graver. I saw this & immediately purchased this tool to aid me in the angle. Just got it & was excited to use it… However, This tool came with no directions how to use; I’m waiting for a response from PMC. I’ve been making jewelry for 9 yrs now & recently got an engraving attachment for my hammer hand piece. PLEASE.. can someone shoot a quick video on how to properly use. 🙏 I will update the tool after I get to use it. PMC was Quick to respond.. I knew they would, as I purchased my Table Top Kiln from them several years ago & Always got answers. They sent a couple of pictures showing how to use. My only issue still is on the angle side, the screw will not hold my graver.. as soon as I start to use it slips.
